I've finally pulled the trigger on the new Seiko Speetimer. In my opinion the golden panda ist the best looking of the four. What do you think? Music from the copyright-free RU-vid library: Just Dance by Patrick Patrikios.
I got the white one and I can’t stop looking at videos of the gold one, I’m not going to get it, but man these are some of the best looking watches available!
The golden panda is definitely th most cohesive design of them all, the white dial got all the hype but the off white hands and off black solar cells make it look a little off
Thank you so much! Also subscribed. BTW: I also have the Air King (made a video, definitively not as entertaining as yours) and enjoy it for similar reasons (not being the typical Rolex).
@@watchyouwant1617 Thank you so much. To receive such a compliment from someone who actually KNOWS watches properly - is quite something! I lack knowledge, so I make up for it in entertainment haha Its a cool watch isn’t it?? Love that it’s a little unpolished around the edges! The 2022 version is definitely better balanced… but I can live with the one I have for sure.
@@liu4life Yes, it so unique with the green logo, the yellow coronet and the fact that’s almost a composition of milgauss and explorer parts. Also like the brushing and compared to the new one the lack of crown guards. Thanks for reigniting the Air King fire. Tomorrow it‘ll be on my wrist („problem“ of having too many watches is to decide on which one to wear…).
Super specific question. Do any of your solar cells have 1-2 small specs on them? Mine (brand new) has 2 little dots on the right solar cell, only seen at certain angles but I’m OCD about that sort of thing lol. Maybe dust?
I also have those little dots in my solar cells as well. I think they are part of the cells themselves. I‘m also quiet OCD but try to ignore it. Hope you’ll get over it too. Apart from that I really like the watch way more than I expected
People who bought a swatch wannebe Moonwatch for a premium, should rather have spent money on this beauty...I guess the bezel will look awful after a while, when its collected scratches...a ceramic bezel would have been useful for that.
@@TheBadGuy1974 the solar one (tank-Style).It’s probably only a question of design. Seiko could also have made the subdials smaller, only partially translucent etc. In the end it doesn’t really bother me
