I renamed the channel from Whattobuy ? to watchyouwant?, because I realized that it's all about the watches we want and not about the watches we should buy because somebody is telling us to do so.
Thanks for watching! Follow me on Instagram: watchyouwant_insta

I’m loving mine. VH31 is no slouch either. Mine is keeping extremely good time and is flawless at $38.00 shipped to the Midwest. I have that steeldive Willard too. I keep it on the new bracelet and feels like a pillow of steel on wrist. By far the most unique feeling of any watch I own. There’s hundreds of stellar watches on Ali... I spend too much time just looking around, it always leads to another purchase somehow. 😂
Nice collection. Obviously subjective in terms of the number of watches that one should own. I reached a count of 15 & found that to be far too many for actual rotation. I’m now down to 10 & will probably drop further to 8 as the sweet spot.
Great collection man! Lovely to see some odd balls. It’s refreshing when you see a collection not just full of the mainstream norm. I loved the Sinn and Breitling some highlights for me they make some great watches.
I have my watch for 13 years. Im not sure what to do. Got some scratches on the hardlex crystal. I know i can buy new crystal and new movement.... but then i could also buy a new case.... and her were are like im buying the new watch already. Well this watched costed me 90 EUR back then.
You make some good points. I see the demise of the Seiko 5 range and watches like the SNXS as a sad thing. The new models that Seiko has released are uninspiring. I have two versions of the SNXS, the silver dial and the blue dial, which is still in the box with the hang tag on it. Great watches.
Thank you very much for watching and your feedback! Much appreciated. The strap is from „Bisonstraps“ and the German Amazon website it can be found here: BISONSTRAP Leder Uhrenarmband,... www.amazon.de/dp/B08RDD2ZQ7?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share Cheers
@@watchyouwant1617 Mine is 7.5 inches and I don't wear larger than 39mm unless it's a diver. 37 and 38mm are great sizes for you. But I guess some people favor legibility while others favor proportions. Both are legitimate. And frankly, it depends on the style of watch too. I'd be happy to wear the 41mm Breitling Navitimer (the non-chrono version).
I have my Quartz version from 1996 still have box and papers as well, i have a lot more expensive ones such as a GMT2 Master but its still my favourite except that i have to send it away for a battery every few years which is getting more and more expensive.
Funny, I'm actually thinking of trading my omega speedmaster 3861 for this Rolex Air-king, the omega has definitely went down in value but Rolex doesn't ever really seem to have that problem!!!
It‘s printed and not applied. So yes, the print is so somehow a tiny bit raised from the dial but not like applied indices/numbers would look like. But I think that the way this military style watch should look like
Just to be clear, Ive had this watch for about 6 months maybe longer. Ive MAYBE worn it 5 times. I just find myself drawn away from the extremely long lug to lug, the useless tachymeter scale and the meaningless markings inside the day and date subdials. However this watch is pretty damn nice for the money. No doubt if this was sold at retail stores itd be 4x the price. The moonphase is not actually a moonphase but an am/pm indicator merely acting as decoration for the 24 hr subdial its housed in. The pushers are not great but i mean cmon its $89 CAD if not less on ali x. The strap is actually pretty decent too.
I think just had bad experience I have same issue with Tag Heuer Aquaracer in orange the cyclops sit slightly to left by 1-2 mm My oris is great happy with it ….
I have both old and new one. Very hard to puck. Old one look more classy but new one look more sporty with crown guard that's all i can say. I like them both.
Aside from the bracelet, the only complaint I had about this watch was that the main crown was too small. An additional 3/4 to 1mm diameter would have made the watch perfect.
The compass “issue” is well within the usefulness of this feature. Analog watches are not exactly surveyor grade compasses but will prevent you from getting turned around in the field. The low contrast between the green face and the gold numbers make it more of an urban watch than an expedition watch, you need to see it at a glance, more contrast preferred. The strap it came with suggests Seiko understood that, your more rustic strap attempts to make it more rustic. I don’t see it that way. Just my thoughts…
Thx for your nice video! Just ordered the kano in black/black/steel on amaz. Also got an 7 inch wrist. Risky size with 44mm anyways. But liked this reduced nice design for holidays 😅 Got an EZM3 and an 104 from Sinn and a Laco 39mm - perfect sizes. We will see if the 44mm fit. Nice looking the red bezel with the light brown bracelett!
The U1 SDR is so versatile. I use it for years, especially on vacations at the sea, at concerts or parties. It's so durable and resilient. And: It's built like a tank. Love its comfortable and stabil strap as well as its readable dial. Won't miss ist anymore, its an extraordinary timepiece!
