Prayers babe, and take it easy

It feels so good to see your seizures aren’t as bad as they were. Hopefully they continue to improve. I believe they will. Last seizure I had was a few weeks ago my eyes started rolling back and the shaking began but it didn’t last long thankfully. One of my triggers is high stress. Do you have ways you handle stress I’m trying to do some stuff to help limit that as much as I can. Hang in there we are still all here for you on this journey

I have these moment's as you do also though I'm not aware that I'm doing it at the time. Sometimes after a seizure i will try and run away and not know, i can also become aggressive but not know at the time. Alot of the time i will be saying "there's writing on the wall, there's writing on the wall" from what my partner tells me. You are definitely not alone 💜

Yes. I have had seizures like that. I was with my best friend (she also had epilepsy) when I had one and took my shoes off, but then started lacing them up, even though they weren't on any longer. I then got up to go out of the front door! I know it's relatively dangerous to try and stop someone doing such a thing, but she and her partner didn't want me to get hit by traffic. The problem is, the brain is both in seizure and trying to reboot simultaneously! I pray you don't have many more and you get permanent relief. Sending Spoonie Hugs and Love 🥄🤗💜

My long time childhood friend often stares at her hands and does weird stuff with them after a big seizure. We are 40 and she's been having them since we were around 17. She also talks in a very childlike voice afterwards. She isn't as open and honest about things as you are, and wouldn't record or share any of it. She forgets everything and often denies the seizures happened even when there is undeniable evidence. Thank you for being brave enough to share your experiences with all of us who came to RU-vid looking for a better understanding, though admittedly the harder I try to understand epilepsy the less sense it makes. I fall on the floor when I black out and don't remember anything some times when I have seizures.

Hi yes I have grand mal I look for things or hair ties trying to do weird things with my hair lol

When my husband had grandmal seizures he would stop seizing and do the craziest things after but he had no memory of doing it ! It was awful! He would always run out side like he was trying to get away from something or he would pick things up thinking they were something else like he thought a knife was a car key or one time he took a lighter to his arm pit thinking it was deoderant and lit it 🤦🏻‍♀️

I think your seizures that worry me the most are when they cause you to pick at your clothes or, like in this video, where you really did seem to be tying a string. Had your neurologist said if the seizures cause damage at all? That bracelet sure is beautiful. I wear several bead bracelets.

After my husband has had a seizure he pulls on his clothes and acts like he is pulling a blanket up and over his shoulders but he doesn't have a blanket on him

I did when l had seizures. I wore a velcro watchband, they said l would continuously take it off and put it back on. Even if l. wasn't wearing it.
