Which of the 5 steps listed above do you find the most challenging to do? Explain why * Identify and clarify: Because I have a hard time understanding and explaining the answer and reason. Select: Because I have a difficult time selecting the right answer and afraid of making the wrong choice. Confidence: Because I'm afraid that I don't have the courage to do so. Speak Up: Because I'm to shy to speak my answer out loud and afraid that I will make a fool out of myself. Be Thankful: Because, "I have trouble being nice to other people." Or, "I have difficulties of paying attentions to other peoples gratitudes." Tell me about a time you self advocated and it helped you solve a problem. Be specific * "I needed help on a difficult math problem but I wanted to do it by my self. After a few minutes of being stubborn, I gave in and ask my (family member or friend) to help me." I also learned that self advocacy means to be assertive, and speak up for myself. Several ways I can improve this skill include believing in myself, knowing my rights, and deciding what I want.
