She's just a rich hoarder and til this day I'm dying to know what made her relationship with her kids so strained. Tori has a small village of kids and her son Randy left Los Angeles years ago. The answers are in their childhood.....
And you probably won't know until Candy dies. They won't talk before that for fear that they won't get any inheritance - which I'm sure they won't anyway.
@@canadiandawn I bet you they get nothing. she will probably leave it all to an animal shelter or something like that. who knows how much off the $600 million she has already burnt thru
She is a sort of old school type of mother, who let her children mostly be raised by nannies while she supported her very busy husband's social life as a socialite herself, hence why they built the huge manor, to have a venue to hold functions and impress society further while their kids were kept happy by nannies.
@@beachcruising4607 Yes, Tori wrote about this in her book. She was raised by a nanny who she viewed as her real mum. Candy was super antagonistic towards young Tori and competitive for Aarons attention with her own child. CLASSIC FEMALE NARCISSIST
she didnt raise her children AT ALL - she spent 8 years building that house and socializing. she has horrible values...SO self absorbed - laughing how her and (name drop again) compared jewelry hahaha what an arrogant idiot. for all that $ youd think shed hit a gym just sayin ....
her son struggles with addiction. I’m pretty sure that airing spelling being such a workaholic and he came from absolutely nothing, and worked so hard to obtain this fortune he would not have wanted his children just to piss it away on drugs and shopping money doesn’t solve money problems. no matter how much money you put towards money, problems and debt. You will be in that exact same position again and again and again, unless you change your habits.
She looks on her computer at her warehouse of stuff several times a day, but doesn’t have a single picture of her grandchildren anywhere!😢 it’s sad that her only true love are material items
That's bs she had private family rooms with pics of her hubby and his pics of her. Again you people assume people who don't look like you or shop at Aldi's know it .. Hah....
What is weird is Tori having to ask her mom to save a couple dolls that don't sell for her children. Like my grandkids can have first pics of whatever they want. Wow
@@lauragallagher8659First of all, it was wasn't a thousand, it was only 400. Secondly, she didn't HAVE to be asked. How was Candy supposed to know Tori wanted her kids to have some of them? They're Madame Alexander Dolls, they're not Barbie. Jesus Christ. I get that Candy is a very hated woman, but the nonsense you all judge her for and complain about is just ridiculous.
Funny, if I had this money I would rent a one bedroom apartment in Norway by the water and read all the classics with my dog by my side and a roaring fire.
@Eat Me Who elected YOU the person that tells others they are this or that? Who elected YOU to tell others they are entitled? Is the irony not lost on you?
Candy Witch. Will her broomstick carry all that money. Joan Crawford eat your heart out - mommy dearest ! A shitty suitcase and a crappy patch doll; why not just shit in an envelope and send it to the kids DHL. She struggles crying from all the surgery. Friend Karim definately arrived from the washroom/toilets at the park. Antique guy struggled to talk - cosmietic surgery...and the 'moron in the sky'!...wonder if anyone will visit her ?
She will be remembered as a selfish self centered nasty woman. She’d better hope she never needs them in her old age. All that stuff will not help do anything. Did you see her expression when Tori showed her the drawing from her daughter? and said she was surrounded by her “stuff “? candy said stuff? as if offended. she doesn’t have a clue that people are only nice to her because of what she is buying and the referral she might give them!
Tori got a doll house and a children suitcase after the sell of Mansion.. How ridiculous.. and she never received any doll of collection as later she said in a interview.. Such a mother.. no dolls for her grandchildren girls.. Fantastic what rich can stone a heart
@Miss. KeKe TV She probably trashed it on the way out in one of those big fancy trash containers at the apartment building Candy was living in ‘temporarily’. Tori most likely thinking ‘Ok so I came to pick up trash? I guess I’ll finish the rest, trashing said trash.
Both of those items were Tori's to begin with. What a disappointment of a mother and of a gift. I'd like to hear a spirit reading for Aaron Spelling. Wonder what he thinks of all this ? Of all the different choices of what she could do with the money, would he be happy ?
Where would she put them? Not the 100 Hotel they claim she is staying in. Cant tell me the grandmother has not taken extreme measures to secure the kids future. I wouldnt care how far my mother got in my business or how many times she told me she told me so we would be right there in her flower room me and my kids if need be. Sometimes you gotta be there.
A loving mother would have given the dolls back to Tori or at least the proceeds from them. What does she need it for anyway? It's crazy. My prediction is Tori will write a book that makes Mommie Dearest's Joan Crawford sound like mother of the year.
That's because Candy is STILL alive. When she dies, I can guarantee you, both Tori and Randy will inherit majority of Candy's assets. I don't know why there are people that think when Aaron died, he should have left a huge good amount of his fortune to his kids. I disagree. Aaron was still married to Candy when he died. And he left all the assets and finances decision makings to his spouse. Which is how it should be done. Giving a chunk of the fortune to Tori when Aaron died, would have been foolish. Tori is irresponsible with money and she would have already gone through it by now. Randy, her brother is making a living and raising a family. Again, if they want a huge chunk of the money Aaron left for Candy, they would have to wait till Candy dies. I am positive Candy has that in her will.
@@kaleoy7584 nah, someone so selfish will probably give her wealth to some ORGANIZATION. Yes, her kids should be independent, but this greedy mom is beyond...
@@kaleoy7584 initially Aaron did set them up and a few months before he died when he was very sick and frail, at Candy’s urging he changed the will. I agree with you that the average person builds their wealth with their spouse and it generally stays with the spouse, but this is different. Those kids and their families could have been set up with nice trust accounts and Candy wouldn’t have been any less comfortable. He earned a large amount of wealth and Candy went along for the ride. This is about money, control, and narcissism. This is definitely not love.
That's exactly what I was thinking!!! I keep watching all the Hoarders shows that get posted on youtube, and this is just another case. With more money and cleaner...
She gave her Daughter back her own case. Wow how generous.......not. Hard to imagine she didn’t even think to save a few Dolls for her Granddaughters. Clearly her Son is the preferred child.
Candy is the most awful person I’ve ever met in my entire life. I worked quite a few events in LA & her and her friends knew me as a bartender. I even worked Tori’s 1st engagement party. The Spellings never paid the gratuity on the event so we made $28 that night.
In her new penthouse is for continued entertaining..no space for grandchild..My grandchildren are my life..I love having them in my life..as well as my children. I'm a 62 year old grandmother and love 💘every minute of it!
Her mom spent 10 years building that ugly house too. No wonder that family suffered, the dad worked well into retirement age in tv, and the mom was obsessed with this mcmansion & hosting parties. The kids had no parents...
Selfishness, greediness, and materialistic at its finest. Just imagine going to all Costco to grab all those Nutcrackers. What a crazy woman, she sure does belong to Hollyweird.
Shock is more like it. Not jelly. I would have given all my dolls to my grandgirls, beanies to the grandboys and ask my kids if they wanted anything and say take whatever you want. Then worked from there todonate and give to charities, auction. She will be judged for real, real soon at the purly gates. As someone had said...hope she gets a mudhut.
Anyone else find it a little awkward when Tori and Candy talked about the Madame Alexander dolls and Candy said that they were once Toris and Tori said that she wished she hadn't given them to Candy because she could have sold them for a lot of money? And then, both of them just shrugged lol I mean isn't Candy getting rid of them anyway? Why doesn't she give them back to Tori and allow Tori to sell them for money since it's clear Tori needs the money and not Candy.
She was a child when she said that, what a selfish woman! The toy soldiers, the dolls, majong games, luggage, pictures, etc. I 'm sure they would like some memories for their families that they grew up with.
Tori has huge money issues so Im sure Candy won't add fuel to the fire by giving her anything. Tori would just waste the money, she has no control of herself when it comes to money. If that $300k from the doll auction were given to Tori it would be gone in under 90 days flat broke.
@lisamartin3734 hubby probably died early death to get away from her controlling nature. He loved his kids and they adored him. And she got it all. He gave it to her to give to them.
ouch that was a DIG at Tori, "i had a cabbage patch doll made for each of my children, this is Randy, this is the only cabbage patch doll im taking, the rest im putting up for adoption", how nasty is Candy !!!
Yes, Candy is a malignant narcissist and down right wicked! She kept her children from seeing their father near the end of his life. So, the kids only received a small nugget of their father’s money. Candy wants all! It’s just sickening the depth of her evil. I don’t think Aaron was aware of her evil deeds. They think she changed the will, while he was still alive (but not in his mind), so all of the money would go to her to decide who gets what. She will get what’s coming to her- if not on earth, then in heaven! If she makes it to heaven- her mansion will be a mud hut!
When Tori asks her Mother to keep a few dolls aside for the Grandchildren, you can clearly see the thought never even entered Candy's head. Their relationship is obviously strained and is noted by the five minute visit and instead of bringing her children to see Grandma, Tori actually used them as an excuse to leave. The gifts she gave back to her children were just awful. That moth eaten Cabbage Patch doll should have gone straight into the bin. A truly selfish person will always be deliberately clueless and do and say the most inappropriate stuff because they simply don't care. Candy Spelling is probably one of the most disingenuous and fake people in Hollywood and I genuinely feel really sorry for her kids. She keeps rattling on about being the keeper of the memories but in the same breath donated every single script her husband ever wrote. Candy would have made an excellent Hyacinth Bucket.
The mementos that she gave them that were family heirlooms were nothing they were trash I'm sure there was jewels and gold and and other things that or the scripts like you said there's so many things that she could have given them she gave a suitcase that already belonged to her I mean it's something your kids could put costumes in but and gave her son of cabbage patch up what kind of person is and I noticed that the things that she doesn't want she's selling it whatever so she can get the money it's just a real sense of greed and I think it's part of it is she doesn't want to share her husband with her children like she doesn't want to give them a portion of him
I think her children have learned to just accept what they can get out of their mother but she's never going to be generous good decent person and then she'll always try to keep their father's memories and their fathers all the good things about their fathers all to herself which is impossible she can't take away the memories but I think they just accept that's all they're going to get from her and and that says a lot about them
@@angels0auras Not really. You want to trade them for 300 million dollars?. A mint one in the box from the first release are going for around $500, hardly a fortune.
@@starquant Depends on which doll. 1 sold recently for several thousand dollars. The dolls in mention were 1 off's Made for Tori & her brother. Named after the brother.
Apparently when Aaron was ill Candi refused to let Tori or Randy see him , Aaron left all of money to Candi , she left 800 thousand dollars each to them , hardly nothing , I’m not sure even Aaron knew this before he died , Candi apparently pays for the kids school and clothes but nothing else , I wonder when she dies if she leaves the money to the children or gives it all to charity, she seems cold to me !
The Prince Charles suite looks like every Ramada Inn room from the 80s and 90s. I almost couldn't make through this second video, it was so revolting. Nice to see her condo will be as tacky as her Holmby Hills monstrosity. I wonder if she will ever have enough possessions?
This woman us delusional about reality. She is still living with her stuff. When she talks about her STUFF she gets really excited and can tell you everything about even the most minuscule items. Classic signs of a hoarder BUT one with an unlimited budget.
I almost fainted when she wanted to talk price with the marble yard guy. Has she really ever concerned herself with the price of anything? This entire show showcases the contrary......
@@db.590 Rich people are the worst... I guess that's how they get rich, the y just screw people and always try to get something for nothing. That's why I work exclsively for middle class people.
This is so sad...She'd rather donate/sell things than ask her kids to come and take what they desire...I'm glad she was not my mom...she will die alone and with only those who hope to be given something after her death pretending to care...I wish I had so much I could gift to my kids/grandkids whether they "deserved "it or not...her kids mean nothing much to her...Karma hopefully will intervene...
She’s actually very smart. Tori and Randy both blew through in inheritance. She knows if she gave them a lot of money, they’d blow it all. She also knows that Dean is a cad and slept around on Tori numerous times. Also, if and when Tori and Dean divorce, she knows Dean will get half. She doesn’t want to contribute to that mess. I don’t blame her.
@@yellowrosetoo I find this ironic since most of us Candy’s spending was out of control. Yes, she has the money to blow, and yes she had a house big enough to accommodate, But make no mistake, she’s a hoarder.
Petra Ecclestone bought the manor for $85 million, she then spent $20 million making it look like a battle ship in the throws of war! The European antique fireplaces and chandeliers were ripped out, and everything was painted battle ship grey, the once amazing foyer floor used to be cream marble, its now black and white stripes! I kid you not, it is horrific. Near all the natural wood got painted black, including Aaron's office, she later sold it for $120 million, so she probably broke even, the one and only improvement, the doll room got turned into a beauty salon.
Yeah she took away the charm, I kept wondering what happened with all those beautiful antique touches Candy personally shopped for in Europe and all over the world.
I was wondering about that and it looks like that too....but she needs to spend time with them grandkids it's sad because that means a lot to those children and growing up and how stable they'll be in life...
Sarah Allred you have a point, the kids would have been an investment to insure her wealth... But i can't help thinking, how much money does candy spelling need....the money's she's got,she will never spend in a lifetime
Well she supports Tori, pays for all her children's private schools her rent and living expenses. This is well documented, Candy just knew Dean was no good and at the time Tori was a massive spender. Anyhow my two cents.
If that was me, all the things I didn't want anymore or couldn't keep, I'd let the kids and grandchildren come pick out whatever they wanted first. They are the most important.
Aaron didn't leave Tori very much money in his will for reasons obvious to Tori. She has a strained relationship with her mother. Candi is just a human like the rest of us. She's spent most of her life in a place where nobody gives two shits about anyone else, and you are judged solely on appearances and what you can do someone to get ahead. Yet Candi does pay for everything - not lavishly, but they don't have to work.
I can see why Tori had a falling out with her mother. Part one of this series, although it was supposed to be about their home, she barely mentions her husband until the very end. It is all about her stuff and money.
Part of that is Aarons fault. A wealthy man in his 50s should think twice about why a hot 20something year old is with him. He should have noticed that she had no interest in the kids. He shouldn't have trusted her to do the right thing with his money
Exactly! I could never live in a place like that...I fear one of my neighbors would fall asleep smoking, or start a fire while cooking. or terrorists.... no thanks, I like my little house away from everyone.
That lady seems very content with all her sh*+ and her doggy and keeping watch over all her junk🤣🤣 Odd how Tori told her little girl that she was going to see grandma but didn’t take the kid nor did Candy seem to care that her grandchild wasn’t there. This lady does a whole bunch of nothing it seems 😵💫
She sold it, because he passed, he was the one, whom brought the money in, so without the golden goose, theres no Manor. She couldn't afford to maintain it anymore.
@@MsTaraPride Exactly!!.She said I'm getting up out of here with $600 million she inherit $85 million for the Manor. Then like $20 million for the stuff she auctioned.Shes good to go to her penthouse. .Smart move.
All that furniture and those possessions, she only gives each of her kids one antiquated piece ? Seriously? And we can see the faces Tori makes trying to keep up with appearances. My God!
EPIC GREED! Her kids only inherited 800k, while she inherited several hundred million. Only giving her daughter w worthless suitcase. APPALLING!! She should have filled the suitcase with money
Now MIND YOU, I have never lived in a multimillion dollar Penthouse, although my friend did for several years… not in NY. But, I have lived in a beautiful condo high up with lovely views and I grew to absolutely resent condo living. It is such a chore to leave and return because it’s just simply a hike every time going up and down elevators, and then (like on Seinfeld) you have to smile and chat with others, which i normally LOVE but sometimes I’m not in the mood or I’m in a bad or sad mood. Every time I had to take my pups out for poop/pee, again, a chore. Grocery hauling. And having neighbors connected to your walls. Ugh. I know that a lot of wealthy people live like this in big cities but now that I’ve lived in a condo, and it had every amenity and was a beautiful place, never again. I love being on the ground and having a yard (open door and pups go out😃) and space away from my neighbors. I wonder if any of these people dislike it after they have lived there for a while. And I’m sure many own other homes too. Anywho!!
Tori thinking there's a reason I left this piece of shit behind when I left. I'm sorry, but any kind of real mother would give their granddaughters a couple of great dolls, and give her daughter the proceeds of auctioning off the dolls. If they were gifts to Tori, they still should be hers, no matter how many times Tori said she didn't want them. My mother wouldn't do that to me, and I wouldn't do anything similar to my kid!
aarong spelling seemed like such a warm person (dont understand the inheritance for his 2 kiss less than 1 million) and she seems out of touch with reality
With all the stuff I see she had and with all the entertaining she did .. It's clear she spent so much time on those things than spending time with her children being more affectionate and loving and caring and being there for them as a mother without just being called the mother .. This video is COLD AS F Feel bad for Tory and the brother ..Even their children ..
Downsizing and getting rid of all that stuff is always a wonderful feeling, but then she just goes to buy more stuff and new things. I think it's because she personally didn't go through the process of selling it herself, other people did it for her. I have been selling off my stuff for years now almost entirely by myself. It is hard work selling on eBay and in person. So since I have worked so hard to get rid of things and get my money back I paid for things, it has taught me that "I don't want anything except my needs" and I never buy "stuff" anymore. I save money for toilet paper; groceries; etc. But I am poor and have no money. The rich and the poor act differently on this subject matter. She is so fortunate that her husband was successful and rich and she doesn't have to worry about money OR getting rid of anything because "staff" does it for her.
Yes. There is a good book by Cheryl Richardson. It is about decluttering and when I was doing the book with a group Of ladies. One lady told me that when you decluttering your save money cause you realise how much you got rid off and will never buy the same stuff Again.
My reaction was along the lines of "Wow, she bought all those things for the Manor, which are now taking up miles of storage, but she still needs new things for her condo and her New York apartment???"
