For me it’s instinctual since Rean’s Motivation _REALLY_ helps

I spent a solid 30 mins configurating the quarts for the fight.... just for the game to tell me it can't use arts

And then for the Arts practice you can't use crafts, meaning, no, you can't just spam S-Crafts to win. (The one that also requires you to reflect at least 3 arts is even more obnoxious)

And yet despite how consistent they are, the ones composed by Mitsuo Singa are, to some extent, the weakest pieces in the series. Give props to the end and opening songs in CS3 and CS4. Those are good.

I love Singa's music, some of em are Synchronicity #23, Endure Grief, Deep Carnival, Ashita e no Kiseki, Proud Grudge, Beyond the Journey, and Step Ahead Singa is getting good lately, well i know some of them are hit or miss, because sometime he uses weird instrument that make the track sound ear piercing

and then there are soundtracks like the infamous chicken sounds, which while admittedly catchy, is so absurd that I couldn't hate it

No kidding. That took me 3 tries until I gave up because the enemy spam arts so fucking much and making everyone low health. Not to mention I already fucked before the battle begins because no character has a CP on 100 or maxed after the last boss battle..

Ngl I love both Falcom and Atlus so this is great. I don't like the bonding system though, it's good in persona but not in an interconnected franchise like trails.

@@otakamerd1220 nosferatu is one of the easiest fights, just use Millium's S-Craft and you get rid of all the mobs, and deals almost his entire HP of damage

I wanted to get the bonus AP so I used Rean's S-craft to take out Laura, Fie, and Emma, and then just kind of crowded around Alisa waiting for her to cast an Arts before swiftly ending her misery.

@@ilyasbasuki3207 Haha, yeah. One of the few annoying things in this game was fulfilling those damn test conditions. Losing out on AP is not an option, especially considering how best girl Towa praises you for max AP per chapter.

Oh, it's not a serious problem. I'm just not usually a fan of extra conditions in battle. And I used a walkthrough for that shit, lol. Still, I only found out about this series last year and these two games are two of my all time favorite RPG's now.

Yes fully agree Tie a link of arcus is a materpiece and my favourite theme of all time that track is what got me into loving falcom's ost soo much, the second most impactful track for me is atrocious raid

@@BagelEagle37 Trails of CS1 as a standalone game is very lacking compared to a DQ game, yes. It's mostly world building + cliche anime characters for the most part until the very end with all the plot twists.

@@sorrowinthewind4258 CS1 wasn't developed as a standalone game though. Falcom ran out of time during development because the scale of the game was getting too big so they had to put out what was done to meet deadlines and they made CS2. (Same thing happened with Sky FC and SC and CS 3 and 4) It seems only Sky 3, Zero, Azure, Hajimari and maybe Kuro 1 and 2 met their initial deadline.
