Mine's been great until now... It suddenly decided to only record for only 3 to 4 seconds, then stop all by itself. I've tried The V2 firmware update, behaved the same, then tried the original firmware (1.1), and still only records for a few seconds. Shame cos it's a nice clear camera and used to record for around 40mins... can anyone help? class 10 32Gb SD card is nigh on empty, battery is full.
Since my Sena camera was new. I have tried to have it connect to the app for an update. Every time I get the message, it doesn’t see the connection. It says something about the cable not working. That’s fine. if the cable is not working, why am I able to charge the battery and plug the camera in to my laptop and display all of the videos on my laptop and download videos to my laptop? because I cannot get the camera to connect to the app or get updates, I am unable to have the timestamp removed from displaying in all my videos, the timestamp is years behind on the date it displays. I will say this. I have a GoPro hero three, and my sena prism tube.. they both take about the same quality of video which is excellent. But the Sena has much better audio. Once I learned to wrap the microphone in a microphone wind filter and mount it inside the air pocket of my motorcycle helmet which eliminates the wind roar when recording while riding my motorcycle..
Hi. Here is how to update the latest firmware: 1. Turn off the Prism Tube WiFi and connect it to your PC or Mac via a USB cable. 2. Download the ZIP file with the latest firmware from "See Firmware History" below at the link here: www.sena.com/us-en/product/prism-tube-wifi/downloads. 3. Extract the firmware file from the ZIP file to your computer. 4. Copy the firmware file to the root folder of your microSD card inside of the Prism Tube WiFi. 5. Disconnect the camera from your PC or Mac and restart the camera. The firmware will be installed automatically. The LED will flash green and turn to red. You can connect your Prism Tube WiFi to our Sena Camera App for iPhone and Android phones where you can disable the Timestamp setting.

Our apologies since this is a video for the original Prism Tube and not the WiFi version. The Prism Tube WiFi can use a 64GB microSDcard for updating the firmware. Please refer to the instructions on this process here: www.sena.com/product/prism-tube-wifi/downloads.
@@senatechnologies That's strange bcz I've used a 64gb SD card twice in my regular tube and it worked perfectly fine... I am not using the wifi tube and it still worked.

Sena, what is going on with the Sena Tube Prism, wifi? It isn't recognized by my computer, and doesn't record any sound. Pretty irritated by now, and looking for answers. Please don't say talk with tech support. They didn't know the product, and were barely capable of reading the instructions on how to turn it on. they didn't understand even the basic operating functions, and were not equipped to have an advanced troubleshooting conversation on the product. This has been going on since February 2019 when the first tech destroyed my Micro SD card at the Daytona rally inserting it upside down. It destroyed the unit as well. I'm really trying hard not to do a review video of a product fail but right now that is looking more and more likely.
This video neglects to tell you so much, such as how to tell if the update is complete, how to finalise the procedure, how to check version and update success. This is such a rushed video, with lazy instructions.
