Regarding Bitcoin my only concern is when we run out of oil we can afford to burn . They will go after excess energy leaving Bitcoin to compete for the scraps to keep the network going. In the long term energy is finite thus creating an extreme demand for what's left in energy terms for day to day survival. Something to think about.

It offers an interesting idea, if the statements are accurate, and if there are enough certificates to fund all of the purchases (which I personally doubt but am certainly open to proof of her idea).
