In this video, I will talk about applying preemergent to the lawn during September to control weeds that may germinate over the fall and winter months in Texas. This helps to keep your lawn weed free if you don't have a weed problem. If you do have a weed problem, applying preemergent in the fall is one of the steps you need to take to prepare to get the weeds in the lawn under control for next year. In response to some of your comments about issues some of you are having with your Fiskars reel mowers after backlapping, I have a few comments midway through the video about properly aligning the reel to the bedknife to help ensure a clean cut when you mow. I'll close out the video with some additional mowing clips.
