Good tip is always set warp new beat markers only on the downbeats, if on any inbetween drums it will mess up your grid.

Beatgriding in serato is hard for me. I am a traktor user and in traktor as the song play all you have to do is hit the tap button to the beat of the song and traktor automatically adjust the beat grid then all you do is click on the lock icon. In traktor. I can beat grid 20 songs accurately in less than 5 minutes. Serato is just much longer. Wish in Serato you can just use the tap button to tap the bpm out. So wish.

library management starts at 25 mins

There's only one variation I would suggest. Produce the same video with a Windows 10 OS as the file and folder tags and structure are different with an Apple OS. Some things are universal to any OS but l've always had trouble with file and folder management especially with dupes and external backups.

Great Video tutorial, but my question is how can I find songs in my Library without using the search tab in a mac...i.e. when using a PC if I was in my all folder or external hard drive if I wanted to find a snoopdog song I can just press the letter S on my keyboard and all the artists with the letter S would pop up and I can just scroll from there or type Sn real quick and Snoop would pop up automatically and then I can scroll to whatever Snoopdog song/track I wanted and then load it to the deck, but in a MAC I can't do that. In a MAC I got to keep scrolling forever or type in the search tab which could take forever if I spell something wrong cause I'm focusing the mix I'm playing and it's a nightmare if I can't find the song I need right away and the track that I'm already playing is mad short. Please Help!!! cause nobody I know knows the answer or how to do it.

I have a question and I have Asked All The DJ’s I know (6) and even Tweeted Serato & Pioneer, I have the SX2, but this is a Serato Question, I know about midi mapping BUT, I like to have my echo effect using 2 other effects, the shorter delay and I can’t Remember The other lol, anyways, Is there anyway to midi map all three effects as a preset on a button. Knob or pad.. I have to always keep going in and setting it up again manually everytime I start a mix, scratch or set.. PLEASE HELP.. It’s the only thing I can’t get right.. Cheers

QUESTION ON BEAT GRIDS:: I set the first point and slide it to the wave. Ok fine. but as I go down the song and set another point, I slide the point to the nearest wave but the whole left side that I just set moves too! Shouldn't the left side of the lines stay still? Not complicated. As soon as I set a third point and try to slide the right side of the song the whole grid that I just set moves. What's the point in setting the points if they're going to keep moving the grid? how do I make it stay still? Thanks.

Hello bro. I want to ask if I'm using a Serato DJ Pro + Pioneer Controller DDJ FlX 6 + Macbook Air M 1 2020. I have a problem when I mix songs, the next song can't be played. This problem appears after playing an hour or so. but the music is still on and the cue or something else still works. Have you ever had the same problem? Or maybe because of the macbook and controller settings? thank you

Hello, I'm trying to use the Beat Grids on some of my old Disco songs and unfortunately, it doesn't work at all. Too much irregularity when placing the first beat on each Bar. So that gives that the song can go from 113 to 118. If we save the song this way, when we listen to it we can hear the speed distortion of the song. I don't know what to do anymore to be honest. I also heard when the songs made in the studios at the time, were not precise like today. Thank you in advance for your help !

hello Serato people. please may i get an information about a possible solution for serato dj pro crashes on Windows 10 home. i have a hughe selection of tracks in my serato library. i tried to manage my hierarchie as short as possible (music/funk,soul,boogie,disco/albumname/trackname. is it too long already? my collection is on an external harddrive (seagate expansion SCSI 1 tb). most of the files are in wave format (1411.2 kbs). i switched off Wifi and all virus scanner and firewalls incl. window firewall. nevertheless the problem is still there. as soon i start serato RAM (8GB) goes up to about 78% and GPU goes up to 40%. after a varying time it just do a peep and the programm is frozen. what could be the issue? thank you very much if you can provide an answer.

Hello, I'm new to Serato DJ pro & I have a few questions, I just purchased a Numark Scratch mixer & it says it's DVS enabled, does that mean it's included or do I have to purchase it separately? I'm not seeing some features in the settings menu like the one to chose turntables in deck setup I've seen in other videos

My mid 2012 mac running on Yosemite doesn’t allow the driver to install for my rev 7 keeps saying no mountable file systems. Any way around it? I have a newer laptop but on it my serato shows my iTunes music and folders for playlist HOWEVER when I load music into the virtual decks they come up blank with no music

Hey if I had,a previous controller,returned it....and now I have a new numark,touch 2go...had the mixtrak 3 pro...but I have been paying for pro ,for about 3 months now,and I've only been able 2 use it probably 10 times ...yea..in 3 months,I thought it was the old controller but nope,now same problem..do I need to redownload serato pro,even though I allready have it.. please help me ,step by step,for dummies...lol..I mean I didn't think I was that dumb..but..it shouldn't be driving me crazy...I've paid 3 monthssssd...I'm disabled don't have any help..far as money coming in...I love music ,been playing GUTAIR and many other since 13,but had recently had west Nile disease and almost died and it's taking me a long time to get back to play musicit's been really tough I can't play guitar and things I've always paid my whole life because my hands are numb and I just have a hard time doing all the other things but I'm able to work towards and stuff like that I just need to figure out how to get it to work consistently because sometimes it'll work and sometimes it won't somebody that doesn't make any sense To me. Was using serato dj pro 3.0 date changed now I'm not able to recover from error code 7.

I have a question, I changed the name the name of a crate and the music in that crate was turned yellow. The music in that create even changed in others and turned red, I've been trying to find the music in my library but I have unable to locate any of the lost files. When I’ve been DJing after like 3 minutes the music will turn off and the music line will keep going and I didn’t know what to do besides pause it, unplug it and plug it back in and the music would play for another 3 minutes and block off again.
