Serena Williams has had countless disheartening adventures with the tennis umpires in her career here's a compilation of it #serenawilliams #tennis Serena Williams angry at referees
I noticed a pattern to her outbursts...getting beat. Part of sport is being able to accept and respect your opponent beating you. Not twisting on like a spoilt brat blaming anyone but yourself.
Yeah also this behaviour isn’t uncommon amongst a lot of tennis players. Female and male tennis alike. She’s competitive, passionate, and she doesn’t stand down.
@@NamarieValimar well sorry missy... Other players don't throw these baby tantrums like an entitled drama queen... This woman has won over 20 plus GS and yet always plays victim...get a life SNOWFLAKE.😂
@@shadowslayer4578 typical, calling people snowflakes and drama queens. I don’t care what you call me it doesn’t make your argument stand. She isn’t a drama Queen, just stop with the double standards and shove it up your ass. Come back when you’ve become one of the best tennis players in the world. K
Not trying to be a pedantic twat here, Ivo but as you wrote it twice, it's "owe", not "own"...cheers bud...oh, & you were spot-on with your comment, btw!
Welp, Michael Jordan called Allen Iverson a b****h the first time they met. Before that, AI idolized him almost like a god. After that, he was just another competitor.
Definitely. I never liked her for that, but the moment when she stole all the spotlight from Naomi in US Open with her horrible disgusting behaviour was already too much for me.
Serena Williams lost bad at the French Open. She has proven her inability to treat umpires and court linesman with respect. To that end, any accolades she has for winning have been entirely diminished by her on court militancy.
@Hoa Tattis what are you talking about? All we have to do is search tennis meltdowns and there are plenty from the women’s side not just Serena. That being said in a pressure match if she is losing Serena melts down a lot
@Hoa Tattis I’ve seen Graf argue but I wouldn’t call it a meltdown. I have never seen the others play but I’m pretty sure they have had their moments if they are any type of competitor. If those ladies were playing today I guarantee we would see them have their moments. Caroline Wozniacki was known as one of the nicest players on tour but I’ve seen her blow up plenty of times. It’s just heat of the competition.
@Hoa Tattis it’s not me, it’s just the facts. You made it sound like Serena is the only one on the women’s side who’s had meltdowns which is completely false.
@Hoa Tattis this was just during the 2020 in the Aussy swing on the hard courts. There’s plenty more to show how ridiculous your claim is ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-rTj-SMK-_ZA.html
@@carmanheard2725 yeah I saw her say that too. After I saw her personally take that moment away from Naomi. So what are you gonna believe, her words or her actions?
Imagine the amount of privilege to demand an apology and actually expecting someone to give it to you just because you said so. She is surrounded by yes men
I've had a job as a store clerk for many years now. I could give so many examples of this. One particularly entitled & condescending woman was in the store treating a few of us like utter poo. Turns out she had just moved into the house next door to mine. I saw her outside & she put on this act of being a nice, friendly lady until she recognized me. Every interaction I've had with her since then has been angrily explosive because she 'knows' I'm beneath her. I despise phony people.
Minus the happy most of the time, especially ever since she stopped winning slams & thus Margaret Court's record has become evermore elusive... Hilarious call, btw!! And it's incredibly accurate too...
They'll just rig matches for her. I also stopped watching because I was sick of the racial pandering in the WTA. She was allowed to ESCAPE drug testing and look at her: in less than a year, she turned into a hulk. That only happens with drug use.
Her US Open meltdown is the equivalent of a classmate telling her she cheated on a test, her responding, “you’re ugly and you have no friends and I hate you, I hope I never have another class with you,” and then her whining to the principal because the classmate told the teacher and got her citizenship grade lowered for bullying.
I noticed that too. When she’s losing, she becomes a bully, in one clip she calls the official an “unattractive loser” and more, so uncalled for. And she frequently says “don’t LOOK at me don’t SPEAK to me unless you’re giving me another violation “. Imagine if someone said that to her, she’s the first one to cry racism/sexism. Bully nasty hipocrate. The cartoon that that Australian guy made was spot on, it was hilarious! Of course she said that was racist and sexist too….
Damn, her behaviour is far worse than my 5 yr old & 2 yr old. She just can’t accept losing & has to be the center of attention, always playing the victim card when she’s the one at fault. Have always disliked her(a gut thing) & this just cements my position.
She's the nastiest most foul player ever to step onto a tennis court. IF she was white, she'd be reviled by the entire leftist "sports" media AND would have been fined thousands and thousands of dollars for her nasty behavior. Black privilege is 100% real.
There's no arguing with the fact that she's a great tennis player, but it's pathetic how she pulls out the victim card every time she doesn't get what she wants.. especially when there's a white man involved.
Shes just a sore loser and blames everyone and anything to get her way. She thinks she should win even when she lost. when i lose i blame myself and nobody else.
I have seen Roger Federer lose and win the finals at majors, and his reaction has always been the same no matter the result. A class act. He congratulates his opponents if he wins or loses, never disrespects the umpires, and is honest. Great sportsman, while Serena just plays the victim card while her feminist fans defend her lack of character. Same with Rafa and Novak.
That's how tennis goes and Serena always congratulates her opponents. Remember the us open against Osaka the umpire and Serena were going at it although she still congratulates Niomi sooo not sure about that one
@@amandalorian105 yeah buddy, you can see who has won most awards for sportsmanship on the ATP. Not like Serena who plays every single card when things don’t go her way.
Boy, It's going to be boring to watch women tennis after Serena Williams retire. No more profane language, no more fights with the umpires, no more messing with the lines people, no more yelling at the fans, no more circus. It's going to be pure tennis. Great!!..
Serena: *(Tells the supervisor, “you know my character, this is not fair, I wouldn’t do that”)* Also Serena: *(Repeatedly throws fits at officials, including saying she, “will shove this ball down your f-king throat” at a linesperson for calling a foot fault)*
What better jury is there when you can clearly hear kids say "Yeah, you did!" as Serena claims "I didn't say I was going to kill you. Are you serious?"
@@geniagrow2662 The one with Naomi Osaka was really awful, poor Naomi was winning her first biggest tournament (US Open) and had to deal with Serena being a sore loser after winning a clean game. She was crying and apologizing when she received the trophy because some dumb people in the audience booed her instead, Naomi said that was the worst moment of her life (WINNING THE US OPEN!) and it tok her months before having fun playing tennis again.
No, she said she had had long bouts of depression since US Open 2018 not since Serena's meltdown. You don't know the cause of her depression/anxiety, there's no need to pin it on Serena.
@@danlee5165 She has spoken about the pressure on young sportspersons who suddenly find success on tour, so no it's not as obvious as you wish for it to be.
Am I able to say there's a direct connection between the issues Osaka has had with the conclusion of her match with Serena at the U.S. Open? No. But there might be some connection. For a young tennis player like Osaka to win her first Grand Slam tournament in New York and have it end with the crowd booing was so unfortunate. Yes, I know that people say that the spectators were booing the referee and the unfortunate outcome of the match, but who can be sure? And was Osaka able to make that distinction at that time? What should have been the best day of her life became a nightmare. And for Serena to say she "was fighting for women's rights" was unconscionable.
@@bobbybaucom9440 No excuse for Serena's despicable behaviour then but unless you're Osaka's therapist, intimately aware about her personal life...everything you say is little more than an assumption. Many players have faced hostile crowds before when they win grandslams like Djokovic but it doesn't necessarily lead to this situation. A lot of players who achieve success at a young age often suffer from mental breakdowns and depression. Read about Capriati or Majoli, this is nothing new...
She’s a legend of a tennis player no one can dispute that. However she says in the Osaka clip “you know my character”, implying she’s never done that before. I feel like she almost hurt herself in a way. Because prior to that she’s had numerous instances where she’s berated umpires. Not taking a side but I wouldn’t have worded the argument as such when your past reputation in handling these types of situations really says otherwise
@@jairoherrera4040 I don't remember asking oh and btw if you're gonna try to make people date you you'd be better off with real people not internet ones.
First two clips were really inappropriate behavior. That was just unnecessarily rude. As a professional don't let the emotions take over your sportsmanship.
Put yourself in her shoes. Imagine you weren't looking at your coach at all, then the umpire is accusing you of being coached. Wouldn't you be shocked and upset?
"This has happened to me too many times. It's not fair".....there's a cause and effect involved. Guess what the cause is?? Bad attitude and bad sportsmanship. Glad it's over.
At this point, I'd say she deserves every point she claims was stolen from her, and every point taken from her moving forward. She's manipulative, angry, and unsportsmanlike.
Just imagine her and John McEnroe playing a match, it would last a couple of days at least, and before you know it they're at each others throats as well
Really?! So I'm guessing that you never watched any of these matches when she lost & instead you simply read all of the sycophantic pandering from the pathetic tennis media, then?
Venus was never like this. Which makes Serena's behavior all the worse. It would still be disappointing, but I guess at least understandable, if the whole family were like that. But they're not. Serena is just not a nice person.
@@Not_Sure-2020 Point taken. Nor would I have brushed it off, either. Fortunately, the code of conduct is clear, any threat whatsoever to an official is a violation, and punishable. Don't recall if she was fined or not, but should have been.
The greatest uncontrolled temper tantrums of all time…no class…she speaks of men doing much worse…what about Nadal and Federer. Too bad she couldn’t learn to lose with class from them
No its is not? Do we talk about John McEnroe, or Connors any differently because of their drama?. You just don't like Serena? Although she can be an over the top drama queen, who can be indignant and delusional.
2021 Open is as good as it gets. Top players in it. Lots of three set and five set matches. Great comebacks and with Williams and Osaka out, no more off court drama. Really enjoyed the young kids knocking on the door and eliminating the favorites. I hope Serena’s husband lets her win in Monopoly or something terrible might happen…
Of course threatening the life of a linesperson should have got her banned for life from tennis and a prison sentence. What I really like is the coaching denial and then later on her coach says "Oh yes she was getting coached and she knew it"... She loves to lie when she gets caught...
