Actually, Mordekai should have Cannon resistance like in OG Serious Sam HD (2010) and Serious Sam Classic: TSE, but for some reason, I checked his data, and he has 0.5 resistance to Piercing instead of Cannon. Piercing is the damage type, at least, for the Devastator. It should have been Cannon since all TSE bosses have cannonball resistance. Mordekai will ONLY take 387 direct damage to a charged cannon. A charged cannon deals 775 damage IN TOTAL.
Not that possible in the original HD or in Serious Sam Classics (you can still damage him to a very high amount of damage, but you won't kill him within seconds) because he has Cannon resistance that is somehow not working properly due to a minor error in the puppet's data as I found out. He should have 0.5 resistance to Cannon, but instead it's 0.5 resistance to Piercing which is Devastator's (Serious Sam 3 weapon) damage type.
@@Nevermore2790 It is actually possible in Serious Sam Classics: Revolution with the secret CDF-ST-005 Plasmathrower that you obtain in The Citadel. 11 alternate fire shots are all you need with Serious Damage on.
I never played SS but i love how this stage looks like one of those stages in old gmods animations, with just a building and a empty landscape as a background.
You can also hide behind the corner before the boss appears so that he doesn't see you, allowing you to shoot him with the sniper rifle while he just stands still. It's not the hardest boss anyway, Kukulkan was a lot tougher.
the grand cathedral song is very good and the other bosses were good as well but mordekai doesnt even attack.not even a melee attack with this scythe thingy.if you think about it,he is a harmless enemy...
This is only possible in the Fusion version. In the OG HD, it won't do enough damage and in the Classic, the cannon can't even chamber out the shots that fast. Either way, the ONLY reason I don't do it is for the pink secret
Ugh Zan 3 and 4 and Mental Institution were harder than this.. Ugh Zan 4 has more fun and consequences during fighting him and this made him tough. Ugh Zan 3 was also challanging.
Tbh the only hard thing about Ugh Zan III was getting to him, once you got inside the pyramid, the rest is seriously easy even on "serious" difficulty.
Hmmm weird I remember I took out at best 30% of his hp that way, although I was playing on serious (or maybe mental? don't remember it was so long ago, but I've beaten this game multiple times back in the day... I wasn't even using Cannon in most of my playthroughs because I believed it was OP). Maybe its some HD bug? Also canon seems to be shooting notably faster than it used to...
Tbh, it's still a challenge even with the damage powerup, though it's hell without it. You're better off using serious bombs to deal with those spiders
Сказки про 20 минут не рассказывай, Мордекай один из простейших боссов в серии. Ему в TSE HD почему-то не поставили резист от ядер, если сравнить с той же Личинкой-экзотеком. В классике он убивается еще проще.
Дыа! Сам так делал по приколу, даже недавно повторил. И по сути Мордекай сам ничем не атакует, он как "Икона Греха" в Doom II тупо спавнит врагов. И в Serious Sam 2 на последнем уровне тоже если поберечь бонус урона и сберечь покатушку, то Крепость Ментала с её 1млн ХП можно раздолбать за 1 раз, стоит ей только "раскрыться". Где-то было видео, как это делается, да и я вроде разок смог повторить на практике.
sad thing about this is that i love the music.its so nice and epic but the boss was just complete shit. Even WITHOUT the extra damage,he still cant do anything.all he does is teleport around and spawn enemy.he doesnt even attack you and can be damaged by all of your weapons(flamethrower was lowest damage)
@@xristaka8199 Yeah, all you have to do in that fight is just fly around and wait for the sandwhale to attack Ugh Zan IV, stick those iron spears, fly around, wait for the lightning to hit him, shoot a few cannonballs and ez. If it wasn't for the music (Remade version of Dunes), that would have been soo boring.
