Hi, thanks for the video. I can't seem to put together the first part (orange) and the second part (apple). In the first part, you show how to create rest message and tie it to oauth2 profile to send a request. In the second part, it seems you write separate scripts to do the requests. What is the rest message stuff used for in servicenow? also, how are these things tie to application and/or widget in servicenow?

Thanks for sharing the Wonderful video and it helped to configure Jira integration. Now I'm facing one issue that If multiple lines are present in SN description then the jira ticket is failing with error "{"errorMessages":["There was an error parsing JSON. Check that your request body is valid."]}". I can see the logs shows text in description in new lines instead of . How we can convert the next lines to .

Hi Gaurav, Thank you for this useful session. I have one query here that You are sending request to insert issue in Jira by BR and sending all details like Endpoint, Credentials, Method in BR, so what is the use of the Rest message you created initially with Basic auth and Jira Endpoint? Why i am asking bcz you have not use rest message and method in BR inside sn_ws.RestMessageV2() but all details you mentioned in BR. Do we need rest message here?

Nice video. For the "bi-directional integration", unfortunately, this doesn't show how to set it up on the JIRA side. Instead, you went with a daily scheduled job within SN to grab all the records from JIRA, but ideally, most people would want it pretty close to when it was created or updated in JIRA. So...we'll have to find a video or documentation on how to do that from the JIRA side.

Hey, did you find any documentation or video or any knowledge which helps when the new record is created in JIRA it should automatically created a record in ServiceNow without writing 'Scheduled Jobs' in ServiceNow. Do we need to write something on JIRA side to achieve this? any idea?

Hi Gaurav I tried the same method u did by writing the exact code in Business Rules for Stroy table , but its not reflecting on my Jira Instance . Connection seems to be good between two application while testing through Rest Outbound .... Have you done any settings on Jira Instance ?

Hello Sir, I have a problem with the query. I did everything like you did, but still got an error: {"errorMessages":["The value '' does not exist for the field 'project'."],"warningMessages":[]}. The endpoint looks the following: < my domain name>.atlassian.net/rest/api/3/search?jql=project=. The authentication is basic with the acces token that has been provided by JIRA. The HTTP Request also contains the Accept and Content-Type with value: application/json. Same goes for the Default GET method. Do you have any suggestions what could have gone wrong? Thank you for your answer.
