What level of wind gusts would you feel are too high for this type of marquee ? … I’ve set up an 8x4m marquee with 10 rachets, heavy duty ground pegs and 2 storm straps over the roof of the marquee, all sides down and zipped up … seems fine in 30mph gusts in a fairly open garden … but concerned forcast is for gusts over 40mph! Would you be concerned?
I wouldn't normally set them up if wind speeds are forecast 40mph or above, it also depends on the garden if it is a corner plot or wide open space (communal garden) I would also put as many ratchet straps as possible for peace of mind in 30mph, especially if the marquee is to be up for an extended period of time (Friday to Monday)
Hi were did you get them lights from do they get hot and not burn the marquee. I can see they don’t or you wouldn’t use them. I have lights but was concerned about that reason. Thanks
The flooring would have to be laid on the patio with the tent poles holding it in place, alternatively you could use a raised wooden floor with the flooring fixed to that
