You both done a superb job, over the brooder and raising the chicks, nicely done, people could learn a lot from you both, great presentation and very sensible, you well understand what the young chicks need to start there lives.A pleasure to watch and very informative for those who do not know I totally agree that people should use a heater and not a light, as I think a light could damage there eyes and effect there sleep routine. we have been breeding birds for many years now, Peacocks , pheasants, chickens etc, we also have 7 parrots and 2 dogs oh and not forgetting our rabbit, love birds and canary. And an acre garden that we use to raise money for charities. Dare I say I also sing here on youtube. I am a silver haired surfer smiles. Have a great week and a wonderful life, regards from PETER

nice brooder, seen another guy using those incubators and when it was lock down time he added a wet paper towel in corner to add humidity was getting better hatches
Cool thanks for posting, nice brooder and I shall base my first one on your model. I guess yours is about 2' x 3', how many chicks would you brred in this allowing for development?
I really like the idea of the heater instead of the heat lamp. What is the actual name of the product and can you tell me where to purchase it. Cheers.
