pot was purchased from here:
m-uk.vevor.com...
I got the one that was supposed to be set up for resin casting but I think I actually ended up paying more for less stuff.
These were the adapters I bought so I could attach the airline from my airbrush compressor, this I think will also fit a tyre pump. you can probably buy just the one adapter by itself for less but these had quick connect couplings that I wanted for my airbrush anyway.

Thanks for the "review" of this Vevor 2.5gal pot. I've just ordered this pot for a project I'm starting up. Looks good with the features already there, so no clunky retro fits. Thanks again.

Thank you immensely. The included manual for this pot is garbage. I got mine yesterday and the pictures are too dim to see anything, and the instructions refer to numbered items shown in the images that have no numbers shown. Utterly garbage manual. I get my air compressor tomorrow, so it's nice to have this video to see what position to have the valves, because I'm a newbie. By the way, the best method to remove the steel internal pipe is to clamp the pipe in a bench vise and rotate the lid counter clockwise with the pipe stem firmly clamped in the vise. That allows you the best and largest point of leverage for an easy removal.

Glad it helped. Great idea for the pipe will give that a try at the weekend, thanks.

Not bad. Quick and easy. I would suggest, that instead of turning the air regulator all the way up, adjust it to the specific pressure you want in the pot as well. It is a nice additional safeguard to have to ensure that no more pressure than wanted gets let into the pot. If you're not using it at all, you might as well take it off the pot completely. Though I know you might not trust the threads to hold up to the disassembly.

That's a really great point, thanks. I did consider taking it off but everything was in pretty solid.

Thanks for this video! Do you think I could remove the air release valve and the paint outlet and cap them off?

Yeah you can definitely do that, cap them if with a couple of bolts though and don't just try to fill them with something. Also make sure you use bolts with the right type of thread so you don't accidently wreck the threads in the lid.

I've been looking in to pressure pots but there's not many options out here in Ireland. This one caught my eyes and seems pretty much ready to go out of the box for resin casting. I would be unable to buy an air compressor right now, though, so would you know what my options there would be? Could I buy a bike pump adapter of some kind?

I dont think you could do it with a manual pump. Maybe a foot powered one meant for a car. A car tyre pump would probably work but would need a similar adapter to the one I got. I "think" it is the same size as what I use for my compressor hose.

Might be a stupid question but how do I know which adapter I need to get for my compressor? Or if I need any really

How did you remove the split connector to attach the adaptor for the hose? We can't get it to unscrew - it's stuck fast.

Honestly I don't have an answer, sorry. There were parts that I tried to unscrew that are just solid. Some long handled vice grips and brute force .... maybe? I was too scared to try as I wasn't sure how strong the fittings were and didn't want to snap a bit off. Maybe someone else might have some good suggestions?
