That mat is a must to put under the tank it helps distribute the weight of a frameless tank so it doesn't leak/break the seals.

I just got a fluval 15. quick tip add some curse foam to the far left chamber to catch the poo before it hits the small slits. The clog of fast and will cause the 3rd chamber to empty. Real bad for me because that's where I keep my heater. there is a plastic lip in the first chamber that looks like it was put there to hold some kind of prefilter. once you look at it you may understand.

Nice scape. I have the same tank. You will love it. Mine has a betta, shrimp and some neon tetras. It’s very important to use the leveling mat though. On a rimless tank, most of this weight is placed on the bottom panel of glass, but most surfaces aren’t completely level…..

As the other comment says please put the mat under the tank you don't want 15 gallons of water on the floor or see any fish suffer if it empties out. There is a reason why it's included with the tank.

Hey for the fluval flex I would get the filter media baskets made for them so you can get a lot more biological filtration, Chemical Filtration, and you can use polyfill as a polisher for your water! Love the videos keep up the good work!

Love the videos I really feel like you would have liked a nice rimless tank they look so freaking good, but heck yeah real plants to help with those nirtrates and ammonia and nitrite, you should try co2 boost by api it’s great for none co2 set up tanks

You should def get some dwarf cichlids Mann that would look gnarly! Specifically some appisto gramma or even rams would be cool! Also for your pool pond idea, I saw this one that is see thru, and if you’re going for one in the basement in your new place, you should definitely look into a pool pond with some viewing panel. Would make for some cool content too! Keep up the awesome work man! 🐠🐡🌱

Awesome tank. By the way I had one these tanks they are great but make sure the water level doesn't go below top intake otherwise it will suck up the water at the bottom intake at a very fast rate and can kill one of your fish, I learnt that the hard way

I have a flex 9 and when I had it set ip the light was honestly pretty bad becouse it only has 3 blue LED’s so I’d recommend getting a much better light and different lid. Then again the only plants I can grow are anubias and dwarf sage so I might just be a terrible plant keeper.

For future refrence carson get play sand from home depot or lowes and put it in a bucket and rinse it for 7minutes and they come in 40lb bags and theyre only like $5

Dude i looked all over amazon for the 15 gallon stand and couldnt find it. i have a 9 gallon and 15 galloon side by side on a stand make for a 40 gallon tank. still looks nice but i really wanted to have the fluval stands instead. all i saw on amazon was 9 gallon fluval stands
