So BMAC has talked a lot about his mount game over the last few videos, Punch Choke options, Arm Triangles, etc.
Here’s the MOUNTED TRIANGLE option he likes to use when he gets to that chopping block position.

The "bully in mount" part reminded me of my first few weeks as a white belt in NoGi when I was trying to play full guard and a fat dude just laid on top of me and waterboarded my face with his sweaty shirt till I tapped ^^

I love your triangle set ups from mount. I hit this more than any other submission. However, I usually can’t finish the triangle from mount, but I think with more practice I’ll get it. You’re the best dude!

So much technique and detail from everywhere. BMac is an encyclopedia. It’s mind boggling. The tech never ends.

Love how you show techniques on big boys and really have them try to escape. It really helps show that a lot of these moves are actually practical if done correctly

Hey Bmac, when you've cooked, that initial option where you go to slide the knee through - does that not get caught up by the arm there? Or are you not worried about that because you'll just go back to working arm triangle etc? I see the effectiveness of the clamp and the step over, but don't understand how you'd manage to free your foot with the knee through? Thanks for the video regardless man, i've been working set ups for mounted triangles, this is cool :)

@brandonmcninja 3 года назад
great question. in this video, we had just done the slide to the inside. i use it to pin the arm and attack punch choke and arm triangle. if i clear the arm, i make a run for the triangle

Man all those micro details did you learn them as you trained or did someone teach them to you
@brandonmcninja
@brandonmcninja 2 года назад
I just train all the time man. I have learned so much from so many people though. But I would say the vast majority of my technical knowledge just comes from working it out on the mat over countless hours. But yeah I could never discount all the knowledge I have gotten from my teachers. Eddie Bravo is a Jiu jitsu genius for sure

Won't work if you are all sweaty. He ll most likely get on to his knees and then it will be a std triangle and he ll eventually stack to escape
@brandonmcninja
@brandonmcninja 2 года назад
I would be inclined to believe you if I didn’t literally do this multiple times every day. 🤷‍♂️

@@brandonmcninja @4:01 Not sure why your partner isn't able to get to his knees. Also note, he has his right hand inside the triangle. So had he scissored well, to get to his knees and thrusted forward to stack, he can free his left arm using the right. Why are you falling on your back first and then posting? Might as well post with both arms while falling
