It's both, it's a trend because riders are advancing to setups like these because they are the best for speed, responsiveness, and grip.

@@lachiedixon410 Definitely a trend/fad. Brazilians out here winning racing on wider trucks with longer bases. It's all down to the rider though

@@AroniDeliquint The Brazilians are also running pretty small wheelbases, on pretty narrow trucks, and split angles. Very similar to a setup like Tanner's, just with some adjustments to fit their style of riding.

park and street deck are between 31 and 32.5 usually

Not when setup properly! The new Rogue slalom trucks can be very stable at speed when utilized correctly.

Only 'twitchy', when YOU Twitch... I run Seismics (1st-gen, w/ springs) on my Super-G as a rear truck(s). Up front, my MWW RTX Trackers run even Softer (Lt.-Blue Barrel Tracker) bushings, and I use a 12* C.Y. Rad-Pad. I was running Avilas, then Top-Hats, but have recently found Tarantulas in STR. I don't slide, btw. I just deal with it, and carve as needed. "PSR"
