If they are found guilty at the end, I think the guy that stood up for the woman being assaulted should be rewarded. If not for him, there would be so many more victims and he's really courageous for standing up for others.

This makes me realize abt why the feminism issue in korea is so big, i guess the gender stereotype issue that male is more superior than women makes some ppl think they have right to sexualize women, that is disguisting.

But whatever yg is doing now is making things even more suspicious

You're the only channel explaining this perfectly and an American fan it's heartbreaking, but at the end of the day I do want justice to be served.

No offense to anyone but as a kpop fan we kinda of forget the people that we follow are actually humans which include Automatically defending them when they do something bad cause your fav “can’t possibly do that”. But the reality is that we don’t see anything we see about .0001% and most of that is staged and under scripts and tv shows. It’s a toxic mind set! the truth is being famous allows you to get away with bad shit because you have pull, and I’m not saying all kpop idols are bad but we will never know. Regardless if this situation is proved right or wrong it’s awareness just because your idols and act cute and nice, at the end of the day it could be all a mask. Their are many things that are being covered up in Korea but regardless I hope this situation wakes everyone up to what people you love can be capable of doing

Wow thank you for this. You were very informative and entertaining. This is the the first completely factual and non biased report of the scandal so far. Obviously seungri should face consequences if he was involved in this but so many people are so quick to judge when all the facts have not been established. Plus thanks for the Korean publics opinion on this as I've only seen comments from international fans it was nice to see how the Korean public is viewing this.

This scandal is extremely bad, even by American standards! Having sex with someone while they are under the influence of drugs and/or alcohol is rape. In America hurting women and children will get you put in jail fast. We don't care if it happened thirty years ago! We want justice for the victim(s). You're right he's innocent until proven guilty. His PR team having him to turn himself into the police on a day that they knew the public's attention would be somewhere else was brilliant. But it also makes him and his company look bad. When they shredded those papers at 6 am, that's what we Americans call a "shredding party!" When American companies have shredding parties it usually happens around midnight. Even with this video there is so much to cover there’s even other celebrities involved in this and there’s been detective GONE MISSING and found ( one I believe ) DEAD trying to investigate these issue BEFORE it got bigger like this. They need to get this under control. International VIPs I’ve been getting information about things we didn’t even know About before the original issue and it just makes the whole fandoms stomach turn we aren’t even finished processing what’s happening but more and more information is coming. It’s overwhelming as hell.. it’s scary to think about

Honestly, I'm disgusted in what he has allowed. I hope he doesn't come back as an idol ever. Put it this way, if Park Bom can have her career tainted by her scandal I don't think he should have any support. What he has done is very serious. I hope he is put in prison.

I want to say I hope Seungri isn’t guilty because he and Big Bang were a big part of my childhood but at the same time I don’t know what to believe or what to trust anymore, I’m just floating in the middle with my opinion at he moment.

Thank you so much for this, I was so confused by everything that was happening and this really cleared it up, I'm disgusted that this is even a possiblity for seungri as he had many young fans who looked up to and wished for a 'happy, cute and caring' man like him to be theirs one day, I'm awaiting the evidence to find out if he's fully guilty before making a decision but i honestly believe that it's too sketchy and all the evidence points to this not ending well..

Thanks for posting this. I do my best to not make a judgement or speculation without know what is what for any scandal or situation. So many people jump to conclusions and it's unfortunate bc if the person is actually innocent, their career and life is usually toast after even if they didn't do anything. I hope and pray that Seungri didn't do anything not just for Seungri but for the girls as well. Imagine being abused by someone with so much power and knowing that you can't do anything about it unless they make a mistake. I don't think I'd be able to handle it at all. Anyway, thank you for the updates. I will continue to judge as unbiasedly as possible until the full facts are released. I think this scandal with be unprecedented and I hope it gives a wake up call to Korean society and the Kpop world in general (fans, behind the scenes, and entertainers alike).

My neighbor has a night club, and it's a middle to high-end one, which I worked at a few years ago as a bartender for a while after she fired EVERYONE. Before the change, she had no idea they were dealing drugs at the night club and giving away free drinks to their friends, even if she, and even I as her friend, went there every once in a while to check out how things were going. As soon as they knew we were there, the waiters, the bartenders, and the manager hid everything from her and pretended it was all fine. Even the freaking DJ was doing drugs. When she found out, through a friend who went to check out the club and saw the manager dealing, she had a VERY hard time suing him because they were trying to make her guilty for ALL of it so they could get away with it and not pay a dime. She actually didn't succeed. They ran away and even destroyed the place. Toilets broken, chairs, bottles, everything. While cleaning up, which I went to help out, we found a baggy of drugs hidden under a table in the kitchen. Now there's new management and surveillance cameras. Believe me, these sort of framing acts from employees aren't uncommon in the "night life." Bartenders giving away free drinks behind the owner's back happens like hotcakes. Not saying this is EXACTLY the case, but we shouldn't turn our backs on people before knowing the full story and who's speaking the truth. Damn, what a long comment. Sorry.

big bang is one of the few groups i call myself a fan of, but even then if seungri is found guilty i want him to be punished for it cause thats what justice is. however im going to stay as his fan while the investigation is happening cause yes it seems like he's guilty but its not 100% yet and i believe in being innocent until proven guilty

Thanks a lot for updating about Seungri. Overall of my opinion of his problem is that why that person suing him didn't sued seungri earlier while he still in the contract. Seungri removed his name or no longer to put his name on that club but why sued him now. He even takes the drugs test it come out negative he even said himself that he'll never do drugs. There a lot of nitzens/people went against him just because of the prostitution, drugs, and etc yeah I know that is not a good thing but why judge him so quickly. First, try to understand the situations there could be lies about the screen shot from a girl. It was nowhere to be found. Second, why makes him sound liked he is guilty when there not a lot of prove yet. Therefore, try to put yourself in that situation when u know that your are innocent but there people who wanna ruin everything. This is why most of Korean idols/celebrity always try to commit suicide because of depression even a small little problem. I feel very bad for him he about to go to his military duty but with the situation is not easy for him to go. A true fan of Bigbang never turn their back to their idol always stay there and protect our kings forever. Also I feel he is innocent....Seungri keep fighting and prove yourself you are innocent show those backstabber to back off. Always stand up for you!!!

No matter what this is a big atep for the kpop and k idol industry. We finally see the light of not just the cute but the cold hard truth. It dosent matter what country it is all countries have problems and this is definitely one. The good thing is people are demanding justice and that can change things for a better. You go korea!

Let's face it. If big people backing you up it'll be hard to get justice. Entertainment companies will immediately drop artists having big scandals. We shouldn't overlook the fact that there were a lot of unlawful acts happening inside the club. I'm still hopeful tho. That people involved get punished.

Wow, at first I was for waiting hearing the final verdict about Seungri, but this definitely proves to me how big the language barrier really is. With the whole metoo in America, I could read the statements of the accussed and finally being investigated public figures myself and judge for myself. Thank you for explaining in full, I finally get it. As much as I want to believe in innocence, I want this to be fully investigated. Sure, still not judge now, but still I want to give this the attention it deserves.

Maybe because I am always a fan of Big Bang and Seungri is one of the member makes me feel like this is not true, someone is trying to bring him down or maybe trying to bring YG down. Thank you for reporting in English. I've found the Korean language very difficult for me to learn and reading subtitles for to long gives me awful headaches. I'm learning bits at a time from Korean shows I'm hooked on like SNL, Running Man, infinite challenge. I'm a huge Bigbang, G-dragon, T.O.P fan. Seungri stands out the least to me, kinda like a back up singer that fades into the background, he doesn't seem to have a true talent. With all his scandals and bad press on top of bad performances, I can see him going broke real soon. Without Bigbang he's a nobody. He's makes a good MC, that's all the credit I can give him. Just my American opinion.

This is the start of more big issues coming out. One by one artist or public figure are getting involved and usually artist become the victim because they are the lower tier of organizations. If you know what i means right there. Seungri career is gone and many more will follow up. Hope this can be use as a lesson to young artist.
