Nice! I was thinking Gigondas or Cote du rhone village as well, CNDP would have been more savoury and earthy but also overly rough in tannin at that young. Very good guess by Jeff.
Did he call it 2012? How is this wine purple? It's turning garnet. With no descriptor of dried/baked red fruit, it's hard to go to S. Rhone. Pretty sure this has 14abv, that's not M+ alc... Plus with 2012 vintage, by now you should get some animal tertiary. Although he got close by calling CDP(full body, high alc, baked red fruits), the descriptors are terrible!
