Patient presented with severe swollen ankle with pain all around his ankle and heel. The ankle pain became even more swollen because the patient was using heat instead of cold/ice therapy which made the ankle more inflamed.
Thorough structural test revealed a structural abnormality in his ankle. His talus was misaligned as anterior superior lateral. Ice and joint pumping to reduce the edema and swelling was applied prior to correction however it wasn't enough, there was too much edema/swelling and was unable to correct it on the first day. Gave him instructions to give an ice bath for the affected foot 20 mins every 2 hours to reduce the edema.
Second day, as shown on the video, the edema has significantly reduced but not enough. A partial correction was made where the patient reports 40% improvement. Patient was instructed to continue ice regiment. On 7th day, a full correction was made to the talus and the patient reported full mobility, and no pain on a followup phone call.
