We had a fire alarm go off at our school once because a kid pulled it to summon help when he realized he was having an allergic reaction to something and was having trouble breathing. He couldn't talk and was getting dizzy, so he yanked the fire alarm, knowing that he was close to one of the exits that was often used in drills. Sure enough, a teacher with their class came down that way, found him, and brought him outside and paramedics were able to treat him and he was okay. Still, quick thinking on his part.

I knew a kid that had a very unstable home life, he tried talking to teachers about it as it got progressively worse but they wouldn't listen to him. One day he came to school with a black eye and the teachers dismissed him again. The kid pulled the fire alarm, when the police showed up he begged them to help him. It always stuck with me that the teachers were so inept, so dismissive of this kid that the only way he could see out of his situation was that.

@@martynix4277 Yep and you could lose your teaching license/permissions in the states if you do not notify the proper authorities of suspected child abuse. At least so long as the superintendents aren't dumb as bricks.

@@nave712 They did, both his parents went to prison for abusing him.and his two sisters. All three of them went to live with some family a few hours away. Last I heard he's married with a kid on the way.

We had 2 gyms one with tennis and badminton courts drawn on amd another one that lead straight to the changing rooms for those takeing sports for there gcses cuz it had a whiteboard in there too

Considering false alarms aren't jokes or pranks they are dangerous the principal was acting like it was just another day at school minus a little bit inconvenience I would be pissed too not at the child i would be pissed at the principal who seemed determined that a false alarm is just a minor problem vs this could cause a delay in response to a real emergency.

The little kid did it because he was new to the school because his father wanted the best education for him so he transfered him to a private school. The kid pulled multiple false alarms hoping the school would get shut down and he would be able to return back to his friends.

I pulled the fire alarm on accident in kindergarten, it was placed right beside the cubbyholes and I being the smallest always had to stand on the cubby bench to reach the top, one day since mine was the last one I toppeded over and reached to grab something and well, I pulled the alarm, teacher saw it was a accident so I didn’t get in trouble

I remember in college, my school had apartment style dorms with a kitchen in each unit. the fire alarms would go off all the time, not because students were smoking their dorms, but inept college students not knowing how to cook and burn their food enough to trigger the fire alarms which would bring out the firefighters. Honestly, I know Atleast three people who burn their ramen or hot pocket and trigger the fire alarms 🤦‍♀️

I was at school once and my class and I saw a lot of smoke and said miss we think there is a fire. She said there wasn’t cause the fire alarm was not going off. A little after that we looked out the window and saw another class assembling outside their classroom and then saw their teacher lead them away. A few moments after that we heard the alarm.

Literally happened so many times at my school that in my last two years camera’s were installed everywhere there was a fire alarm and everyone was informed that pulling it deliberately without just cause would lead to immediate expulsion. I think a one or two people got the boot and the incidents went down drastically. It was pulled at least 10 times over the course of exam season, at the end of every term when people were leaving, several times at the start of the day & etc... Though sometimes it was caused by the kitchen burning something (usually the start of the day, making the break time snacks; bacon butty’s, toast and such)

My lunch aide in 5th grade accidentally tripped the fire alarm in front of us. She was taking us back to class when someone started talking. She stopped us to yell at us and her purse hit the plastic cover and it tripped the alarm. She tried to pin it on a kid in my class and say he pulled it. They believed her. The kid was suspended for some unknown amount of days. When I found out I had the brains (and I watched too many crime shows) to tell my dad (who was chief of police at the time) to check the cameras. He went to the school and told them to check. When they saw the footage they ended the kids suspension and our aide got in trouble. I’m not sure if she was fired but we never saw her again.

When they found that baby I was so pissed that he had to resort to pulling the fire alarm because he was afraid. Our kids need to be protected and parents need to be a lil more vigilant. Giving the child what we think is best sometimes causes more harm

My elementary school put dye packs on them and that dye is not the easiest thing to get off, one time a kid had pulled the one next to the cafeteria and standard procedure at the time was single file walk to designated spots, my walk was right past the cafeteria and past the pull tab alarm despite there being a closer exit (stupid decision, i know). And as i walked past it i noticed dye pack paint spread across the unit, which is highly unusual because the way they were designed was so the dye would go around the finger/fingers when triggered and it wasnt easy to trip by accident. Come to find out, the kid was desperate to meet the fire chief to thank him for getting him off a large tree. Wholesome but definitely not the best way to go about meeting him

I remember back in my Sophomore year of high school it was about 5 minutes before my last class was supposed to end and we could all go home for a 3 day weekend, guess somebody decided they wanted to go home earlier cause the fire alarm got pulled. We all had to March outside and wait for like 20 minutes while the fire department made sure it was safe, and they just let everybody go home. Don’t know if they ever found who pulled it.

I remember someone setting fire to the toilet roll in one of the toilets in high school. We were bored in class looking out the window and saw smoke. Let's just say when it says break glass to access the alarm it wouldn't break. I had to use an impulse spray can on it to get the glass to break it was so thick!

Honestly, I found this episode to be a bit lackluster. I expected there to be something dark hidden in the school and that's the headmaster wouldn't help. But that's just my opinion.

One time at my school someone pulled the alarm because it was during a French test and he hates French when we got back inside French was over but then tomorrow we had to finish the test sooo really wasn’t a good idea to make us stand outside during winter 🥶

In the early 90s, when I was a youth training officer, we had a very near-sighted student. She tried to read the text just above the breakglass alarm point, and broke the breakglass with the tip of her nose.

First years kept pulling a fire alarm so I was sent to the school to keep an eye out as it was getting extremely annoying for the school and students and junior cert and leaving cert was going on at the time as well as well as my cousins fire team HAHA I BUSTED THOSE KIDS I scared the crap out of them to but the school lost almost 30,000€....over the course of three weeks cause every time there’s no planned fire alarm the school has to pay the firebrigade €60 ....

1:01 I slightly saw the kid running on the top left of the camera footage! The principal or teachers didn't do anything to help the new kid. The principal should not only be thinking about the older students, but to the new, younger ones more often.

One of my classmates leaned against the wall by a fire alarm which by chance his shirt got stuck without him knowing and the next thing we knew the alarm went off. This was around the time our school was having bomb threat issues as well as a year after the Columbine shooting so it was chaos. The cameras picked up that it was a mishap however that person was not well liked for a week as since we had to leave the school and head to the bus garage in the middle of winter (The snow in this show is very much the same as were I live since it is only a few hours drive to Chicago to where I live as well as being close Lake Michigan so you get how cold it was (my school is very small as in 60 is a huge class to have graduated) in the middle of winter without our coats. Then be shipped to the fire station to wait for parents to pick the kids up. I lived close by so i and 2 friends could walk home after doing the proper instructions. Nothing really bad happened to the person other than no one really talked to him for a week and would let him lean against the wall for a while. We all knew it was a mishap but again we were not gonna forgive them for making us freeze out butts off and some got really bad colds.

I we had someone turn on the light fixtures in the auditorium and set the curtains on fire at my school Rondout Valley High School and we had to stay outside in the cold and we had 5 fire departments arrive stone ridge and krumville and rose dale fire department

Rather a fire alarm than bomb threat, one year in high-school we had a couple dozen threats that were all fake. Some freshy(which that this school was actually 10th grade) didn't want to go to class, stole a phone and kept calling in fake threats. 😒
