I’m so glad you showed us some of your house. It will be fun to see how it progresses. Your energy level is amazing. You have so many moving parts to your life right now. I know you are taking good care of Gerry and hope you will do the same for yourself. Happy that you have good medical care where you are… So important!

I think that little door in your front door is called a wicket door. I love the amount of rooms available for your various crafts. Although I loved your one large room in your other house, as well. Once you decide to completely move from your other home to your new home, check into a moving company. It will save your backs as they move everything. I think they will even pack for you for an additional fee. May an added expense that would benefit your health and time.

I made that sewing caddy long time ago and use it all the time! I used a plastic frame that i found at dollar tree when everything was still $1.00. Love it.

Nice to see you so Joyful. Could it be that part of Jerry' s high BP is due to stress caused by having to decide whether to keep 2 houses or sell the house he had built and the barns and pond, he put all his energy and creativity? For practical, rational reasons, your new house is more suited, and you need to be close to the doctors, hospital, etc. and for you to be closer friends, neighbours, shops a.s.o. Having to choose and part is very stressful. Reason and sentiment don't always go hand in hand. The turtles quilt is also my favourite. I think I started watching your videos when you were making the quilt. I was fascinated by the difficulty of cutting and applying the corals and all the tiny details and you explaining how to do it. The owls and the books come in second place. Brown was the 70's colour. Walls, furniture, tiles in the kitchen, and the bathroom, we had to redecorate from ceiling to floor before moving in.

I thought hanging the thread racks on the peg board was a "FANTASTIC" idea as it meant not having to make extra holes in the wall. Loving your top the fabric is beautiful.

I have not seen Joy…and Jerry pop up in the feed in a long time. So fun to hear your enthusiasm! Hope Jerry is feeling better and that all your plans and ‘fixes’ are accomplished in short order. God Bless!!

I have made the caddies of Rhonda’s for several people and they have loved them. As I mentioned some time ago, you two are the same age as my husband and I. You always have lovely houses, but stay with your new home for those medical issues and yes, get help and just deal with the loss of some of your favs! Jerry is so nice to help you set up 2 sewing places, but that is really not needed, Joy-I guarantee once you have set up one nice home for you two, things will be so much better for you two-I know all of this IMHO. RELAX, RELAX, RELAX!

I hope Jerry gets his health issues taken care of soon and his sleep test done. My husband has done so much better since he has been on the c-pap machine. We traveled from Virginia to Florida today March 1,2024. I’m glad we are here and got to see family but the trip was a nightmare. What normally takes us 9-10 hours ended up taking us 12 hours. We started out having to take a major detour as one of our streets was shut down. The traffic was horrible with lots of back ups and only able to move 2-8 mph on I-95. Also about 1/2 of South Carolina all the way through Georgia gully washer raining. We made it though and after a good night of sleep we will be good. Your house looks great and can’t wait to see more of it.

Joy, your new home is just gorgeous! What a wonderful tour you gave! I loved seeing all the unique sewing spaces that you’ve set up! You are like Wonder Woman the way you have gotten your home into shape so quickly! Do you want to hear something funny? You know your little “reading room” area at the top of your stairs.. that’s about how big my entire sewing space is! I have one tiny bedroom for all of my sewing and quilting possessions! That’s it! Yikes! I made it all fit somehow! I only have a very small fraction of things compared to you but I’m very content in my itty bitty sewing room😂 It is lovely to see how you’ve organized all your different areas! You can buy plastic cord covers that stick on the wall and cover your cords. They are paintable

Hey there Joy Lovely to see you ,prayers for Jerry that all will be sorted out with his blood pressure Lot's of spaces for you to sew Definitely need to paint all the brown walls so outdated and the front hallway would also be brighter especially with the door open light coming in Lot's of projects paint is a easy fix to brighten up the house Take care you two ❤️

There's metal wire molding that cover your wires then you paint it your wall color and it's not Annoying to look at like loose, wild wires sticking around. My sewing room is tongue and groove pine in the attic so I've used that and painted it tan so not to be so noticeable. Good luck. Hubby would cut to fit and they have little metal tabs to hold the molding to the wall. All metal and paintable. Get at hardware store

I used to do beading. I loved to a condo 3 years ago and got rid of my beading supplies. I use my bedroom as my quilting studio.

I loved this video! I just love looking at all of your sewing stuff, fabrics, and machines. Of course, your snippets/stories are the highlight. So I first want to say I just love your energy , U are amazing & I'm sure U hear this a lot but I love the fact that U not only have separate rooms for sewing & beading that's is great but that U have multiple sewing rooms in your home....would love that.... I will be looking at other videos U have done just to see what U have going on here & there, as I have just found U.... I truly hope your Husband has found a doctor that is willing to truly look into whatever the problem is.... All doctors everywhere are getting to the point all they care about is the money & not helping the person....pray the best for both of U...Have a great weekend!!!!I

Your new house is very nice. My unsolicited advice, LOL, is that you convince Jerry to sell the Kingston house and stay in the one near doctors/hospital. When you have heart issues time is of the essence to get medical help. It could make all the difference in the world. My stepdad had a bad heart and I speak from experience. Best of luck to you both.

I have a Martelli table as well. I have the largest one they make. I also have the Kallax cubicle set as well. I put two back to back and attached rubber wheels with brakes and then I made a solid top covered with batting and heavy cotton to make an ironing station. Love it.

You are at your new house? …we are traveling back to Nebraska after spending a couple months in Texas and we are going through Tulsa. I told my husband, we are so close to Joy’s new house but I bet she isn’t here… maybe I can just wave as we go by😂

We are not young and cannot do what we used to I. The quick time we did I. the past. It is hard to accept that. I know I get annoyed when I can no longer do things as quick as I used to. I will be 75 in July.

I found out taking metamucil helps to bring bp down. I have high bp not real high, but was on meds. I take qu10 and qunol turmeric pills and 500 of magnesium and all this was bringing it down. I take these every day. Taking the fiber stuff a tablespoon was too much. It made mine too low. I take bp every day and it is normal so I quit taking my meds for it. Its been 2 weeks. I have to call monday and tell the nurse practioner I really like her, just so she knows. I hope your hubby will be ok. Crazy.
