Monetize, yes you will, because you spend hours gathering info, sewing, filming, editing, reading, responding, etc that you can be proud of your work and believe in your self worth and pay yourself. I've been up loading on youtube since 2009, because I enjoy the process. I d love to get your subs and viewers, but I m good just doing my own thing. Put a portion aside for your prizes, but keep the money for you and your future. This is might be a hobby or past time for you, but grow with the industry. The ads are not bad at all, it s reality to this medium. Do bi weekly talks and watch your viewership blow up. Good luck girl, now I m off to make my second topper.

That scripture is referring to paying an honest day’s wage to a person hired by another versus taking advantage of a laborer by not paying a fair wage. You’re comparing apples to oranges. I remember when RU-vid was simply a wonderful forum for people to freely share their God-given talents to help others, with no thought given for payment of any kind. People blessing other people by sharing their knowledge and experiences as a gift of kindness. Google’s extreme greed has insidiously enticed the masses to buy into their schemes. I guess I’m not surprised to learn that Vivmom has also succumbed, just sad. Don’t bother to reply with nasty comments. I’m unsubscribing.

- You totally cracked me up when you said "I would never wear pants to bed, good Lord, no!" I'm with you right there! Can't stand pants in bed or night gowns or things with sleeves. - I like the headboard on the bed, it's different from what I normally see on most beds. It looks light and airy and I was staring at it looking at how it's woven and wrapped, especially how the corner is done. - I like your outfit by the way. I was thinking that if the fabric of the shirt were turned the other way, the print would look like narrow pine trees. :-)

Do make a day trip of it, Dorothy, if it fits in with your travel plans. It’s about a 3 hour drive from Washington, DC and oodles of fun once you’re in the shop. They’re not open on weekends. That’s why we always go on Friday. The people have never failed to be super friendly!😃

For me, eating sugary or starchy foods made them worse. I think you should be monetized; it's the way that RU-vid pays you for your hard work. You're not expected to work for free. Sometimes I like the ads because I find out about new movies coming out or products that I might consider buying.. if I don't like the ad.. I skip... I always hope people make tons of money.. I think you should be proud that you can start your own business on RU-vid... There are many ways you can expand your channel. You can teach sewing tips and tricks.. I am amazed about your sewing skills and would like to see some of your tips.. why not shoot for the stars.. you may become a RU-vid star...

I am going to have to back out of the sewing challenge this month. My sewing machine broke and I can't replace it until next month. I made one easy topper without a pattern and one cardigan with a library book pattern, but didn't get it done before machine broke. I am slowly building up a pattern collection. I've bought 3 from ebay so far. Thank you for inspiring me to sew again!
You are so lucky that your husband likes to go fabric shopping with you. Mine would rather eat dirt than set foot in a fabric store. ( But if traveling and find a quilt shop along the way, he is very gracious and doesn't complain if I want to stop!!)
