I loved these interviews when I got in the Pistols. I was 12yrs old, on shitty estate in west London in 1984. I discovered them via my sister that is 10yrs older than me. All my mates were into Duran Duran, Wham etc, and I hated all that. The Pistols songs were great. I loved the Pistols just from the songs, it was later I learnt about punk and what surrounded the band. So it shows the music was excellent and they were a good band even without the chaos. These interviews are hilairious, I love the US girl that tries to be cool and fucks it all up, telling the lads that Brixton is in west London and a Mush is about getting hit!!! A mush is your face, and Brixton is in South London!!
I never thought I'd hear Sid use the word "contrived" correctly In a sentence. "All that fine display of patriotism only comes from the middle class, it doesn't come from the working class, it's like too distant to be true."
