I wonder if the new Native American character will take inspiration from this T Hawk, or if he’ll just return. Much like Dee Jay, it always felt like T Hawk never really had a proper design until they decided to utterly revamp him

I could use the term Indigenous next time, if that’s what your semantic arguments are trying to say, but if you are saying that I should be using the term Indian to describe the character that takes inspiration from Indigenous tribes and is labeled with the Mexican flag, then that is both inaccurate and inconsistent with how the series itself distinguishes characters.
I went through this whole video wondering how this Omega character got reused in SFV until the second I saw earth rage. Immediately facepalmed wondering how I forgot Necalli existed. Kinda like Capcom did
Omega T Hawk is so good. He lost a little bit of his pure grappler status (armor ex grab, 4f meter less command grab) but got so many fun toys to work with. A 2 bar safe Invicinble reversal is extremely uncommon in Omega (only other case is the great Dan).
I think Hunting Hawk is a reference to Condor Spire from the older games (where he does a hopping overhead chop). Regarding T. Hawk-if Lily is related to him at all, I hope she takes queues from Omega Hawk. Spire is just so damn good, and this version of Hawk might be the best version period. Also, on the off chance Lily is his kid, I hope she also takes something from Juli from Alpha 3. I'm sure Juli and T. Hawk got back together after Shadaloo was destroyed, and it would be a neat reference.

I didn't know about the instant overhead LP into EX Dive before, it lets you use the old PPP input just like after EX Tomahawk. Although the LP itself only works as in instant OH on crouching Hugo, outside of fuzzy guard scenarios. And even in those situations, the EX Dive doesn't combo against characters ~shoto height or lower Also omega Hawk's j.MK got massively buffed as a crossup, it has 2 separate hitboxes like Ibuki's jMK
@@raphu2272 Not always. His Sakura video had an example that would have benefitted from 2 Sakuras. Having two of the same removes a good amount of ambiguity
