What's changed in the transition from Street Fighter IV to Street Fighter V? Find out in my debut episode of 5 Minute Fundamentals. --- Follow Me: lordofultima twitch.tv/lordofultima soundcloud.com/lordofultima ---
There is also a new priority system regarding trades, in that heavier normals clean beat lighter normals, and the only trades *usually* happen when two same-strength attacks collide. Couldn't fit everything due to time constraints.
Great work on breaking down the difference's between both games, it helped a lot and I can not wait for the next 5 minute fundamentals episode. ~~Thanks from Canada!
Thanks for uploading this, its a good reminder of why I am getting destroyed trying to backdash. I should be thinking either v-reversal or hold that sh** in those situations
Very good video, I'll probably pick up SFV next time it's one sale. I played loads of SFIV but never got excited about SFV until recently because of all the negative reviews surrounding the launch.
GhostlyOutcast Who knows, this was two years ago and I like sf5 now lol. I just didn’t like the way combos were nerfed at the beginning but with the addition of many new character the play style could vary a lot more and it’s a lot better then at launch. Does cater to newer players a lot more then classic arcade fighter though which isn’t the best when you’ve learned a lot over lots of SF hours
I dont know dude. From these changes, it seems like SF4 had the main core problems that TTT2 had. Tekken7 is much better than TTT2 and I think it's the same for SFV. Especially the implementation if getting around the fireball. I do however think that the parry system should go back to SF3. And fix some hit boxes. Maybe they should have kept the hard inputs in some cases.
It weird, I've historically been a verses series player (Marvel) and when SF4 came out, i freaken hated it. But picking up SF5 felt a little Closure to home oddly. I can't really speak for sf4 guys, a lot of their stuff got changed.
I don't have V yet not sure if i'll get it yet since i'm trying to learn IV but does what I learn from IV translate over to V? As in would it help to learn a character from IV who is also in V?
skyrock100 sf4 is great. the only that I got sick over the years was the music and menus. kinda wish they'd seasonally update these things like in Gran Turismo games
