Just so you guys know, Tim Haywood, the wonderful composer of this games soundtrack, has confirmed he is working with Nightdive on this remaster. He has also confirmed that there will be new levels. (dunno how many, but one was known to be cut) Which means newly revised unused music, and some touched up audio!

My grandfather and I played this game since I was 9 years old. We were waiting for this remastering to play it again, he passed away a month ago. I will download it and play it on your honor.

You don't know how long I waited for this remastered to be announced, it's my favorite Nintendo 64 game, the game that brought me nightmares.

Shadow Man Remaster on consoles is like a dream come true. Also i hear they may clean up the controls as well which would be above and beyond.

I’m in tears - this is my favorite game of all time - so deep, so epic, so emotional and I’m so glad they are keeping its essence intact because it must be preserved. It was perfect then. It will be perfect now!! 😁

HOLY SHIT!!! How did I not know this was a thing. I absolutely loved this game back in the day. I still have good memories of playing this on my N64. Well I've always wanted a remake of this game, but a remaster is fine in my book, just take my money.

22 years ago I watched my mom play and beat this on the Nintendo 64. I was 11. I was completely immersed. I bought it a couple years ago on Steam and it didn't feel the same... but seeing this... I've got that feeling of excitement I had 22 years ago and I'm so excited to play it myself and immerse myself completely like I felt all those years ago. God, it looks so good!

What is the release date? My favorite n64 game : atmosphere, music, gameplay, all is perfect. New levels (cut original content)? I buy day one this remaster.

Just stumbled upon this trailer....I am beyond stoked to play this game again.

I'm ok with ground up rebuilds of classics like Crash Bandicoot or Tony Hawk PS, but Nightdive KNOWS how to properly remaster videogames. There are ways to make these old but often beautiful and unique interactive experiences available to the general public with streamlined gameplay and graphics while preserving their original artistic vision, as they were intended to look and feel. I think there is ingenuity in the way early 3d games where able to solve characters, objects and maps with the least amount of polygons possible and create these minimalistic, yet overwhelmingly atmospheric worlds. I'd love to see this kind of treatment to similar 3rd person games of this era like Silent Hill, Max Payne, Legacy of Kain, Nightmare Creatures 2, American Mcgee's Alice...

It's a shame they haven't properly remastered the game with better graphics looks more like a high end pc port

Shadow Man Remastered, Star Wars: Republic Commando, and Azure Striker GUNVOLT 3 are more anticipated to download in my Nintendo Switch console after downloading Turok games.

We loved this title on Dreamcast, but somehow we lost the thread and got stuck. Now we will soon be able to complete Shadow man, thank you for that.

as a child, playing a pirated version of this game in Russia when there was no Internet and not even knowing that there was a comic book, I was just blown away by the unique gloomy atmosphere and voodoo themes about which I knew almost nothing and this game fell into my soul. by this time, even in Russia, comics were officially published. it would be cool to see a new part of the game. for its time, this game was like Dark Souls because of the hardcore and gloomy surroundings

So badass! speech at getting the new soul level up was, "Power of the Dark Souls, I Embrace it"

This is a definite day-one purchase for me! But I hope Nightdive Studios let us customize the graphics. For example: this brand-new dynamic lighting looks cool, but I rather play with that turned off. Same for the motion blur. Those 32/64-bit games look so charming to me due to their simplicity in geometry and lighting. Also, if we're really getting new textures, give us the option to change it back to the original textures too. [EDIT] Did they change the SFX for the ShadowGun? IDK, it sounds off. And I don't know if Nightdive Studios are gonna read this, or if they're even aware, but Shadow Man was one of only two games released here in Brazil for the N64 that had Portuguese subtitles (the other one being South Park). And AFAIK this version was only sold in Brazil. So my question is: can I expect Brazilian Portuguese subtitles in this remastered version? Or, in case you can't extract the subtitles from that BR N64 version, can I help translating this game?

I remember spending many late nights, playing Shadow Man on the N64. I hope I can spend some late nights, playing this on my Switch. Damn, that would jolt my nostalgia!!

Is it going to include green blood and the original foreign dubbing from the German version? I'd love to have that as an option, along with the other foreign dubs (Italian, Spanish, etc.). Shadowman has a movie-like story, so I feel it's important for the foreign fans 😊

I barely found out they are remastering this today all because I saw Matt Mc muscles playing Time Splitters and thought the main character sounded Mike so I googled it and happened to see this on the actual voice actor for Mikes IMDB page lol SO HYPEEEDDDD!!!
