Ratbag has to be the most loyal of Talion's friends. Didn't even need to brand him, and he was right there with Talion, looking out for him in his own way.
CloudsOverDD that's because their structure of command is based on who the best killer is, it allows them to be more individualistic and more open with their personalities
That’s because the game lore is screwed up and wrong the elves were intended to be perfect and good, orca ARE CORRUPT elves and URAK HAI are superior breeders. They have no redeeming quality the game strays from the lore and is not fact
Super Mario Pixel man ישוע Elves were intended to be perfect and good, bullshit, have you watched any lotr or hobbit film or read the books. Elves were always perky tall cunts. They’ve always been mad racist as well. Hell even legolas was a racist prick in the hobbit (he did turn it round though)
the thing I love about ragbag is that he would have a better chance succeeding (or least surviving) as anything else in life but an orc. Which sucks because he is one and he is a horrible orc. he hates fighting, he's a coward, he prefers to talk his way out of predicaments, he's not consumed with hate against everything and everyone, just people who've wronged him, he see's a human (talion) as his friend as well as an olog (ranger) and the one thing orcs hate more then humans are their own kind. he's small and he's a horrible war chief/captain. he's the least orcish orc in all of middle earth.
Daniel Carbone well, there are two more things most orcs hate more than their own kind. Elves, which they descended from, and, of course failure in battle. They're a tough warrior breed, losing a battle brings nothing but shame to them. As Celebrimbor said: They follow strength, if an orc in a leading position doesn't offer that, he'll end up being killed by his own kind pretty fast. And there's ALWAYS. an orc who think he'd do a better job than the current leader
This is not entirely true. Orcs are cowardly by nature and are only brave and bloodthirsty because they're quite literally whipped into submission and madness.
Bumbleness Supreme Brady so basically to ranger and ranger. Ratbag was right, shit's confusing :D just the same when we had 3 Julias in our class, and the teacher would pick Julia to answer the question, and always got the same response: Which one?
Yeah but you can kinda hear in his voice at the end there that he’s kinda disturbed by what you did to Brûz. I wouldn’t blame him I he started to question your morals.
Destroyer m60 you can, he back to ambush randomly, but you'd have to give a fort to keep him loyal or he'll just betray you again... the personality is gone too
when i got to the part where i chose my overlord, b4 realizing it wasn't an option, i thought u could slightly change the story by making him the overlord
I don't blame Bruz. He helped set up the siege, stood by your side and fought for you (In my play-through, he was downed multiple times). Then, you give it to a random orc for no real reason. I'd be pissed too.
Random Orc for no real reason? Let me tell you about Nazu the Mad. He was the last chiefs bodyguard. When i had to face him Nazu screamed something about kettles and outright obliterated the Warchief in 3 hits. Was downed by the next Chief and Nazu stepped in and beat him to death. During the Siege he cleared 3 points by himself. It's hardly random for everyone =p But yeah, would have chosen Bruz if i could.
This game answered a question I had since childhood. What if there were orcs and other creatures of the dark that didn't want to fight? Be scavengers, farmers, nomads, outcasts or whatnot?
@@xninjabluexTV Nah, not the same guy. Bruce from Finding Nemo is voiced by Barry Humphries, the man behind Dame Edna. Bruz, on the other hand, is voiced by a British man named Gideon Emery.
After i finished this questline i went back to try and get him again to make him overlord XD I ended up ice blasting in hopes of putting him into the grabable state ...instead i think it crit and killed Bruz. Later i found him at the Minus Morgol arena as an undead and cut him in half o3o
In the rererere-release of the special extended edition of the movies Ratbag and Ranger will show up at the black gate to help Aragorn and company in the last fight to buy time for Frodo and Sam. Bruz will also be shown wandering around screaming "ITS YOUR FORTRESS!" "ITS YOUR FORTRESS!"
It's not available yet. They're going to try and hire they editing George Lucas used when he had all the extra crap added to the newer versions of the original Star Wars trilogy.
I adore ratbag. Best ork friend aside from my most loyal follower Nákra the Obsessed who is a Mystic Hunter. I had an old follower i considered to be my most loyal but he betrayed me. Nákra has not only been one of best fighters but has also saved me on multiple occasions. I've grown a bond with him to the point where it be devastated if he was killed or betrayed me.
I want a spinoff game that's all about ratbag. This is easily the best stuff in the game and it's such a small part. To be clear, I don't want dlc. I want Middle Earth: Shadow of Ratbag.
Theres a missing scene. When Talion, Celebrimbor, Ratbag, Ranger (Olog) and Bruz are at the fortress, Bruz grabs ratbag and squeezes his torso, breaking a few ribs.
Talion: celebrimbor! Bruz has betrayed us! How do we punish him? Celebrimbor: first, distract target. Then block his blind jab. Counter with cross to left cheek. DISCOMBOBULATE. Dazed, he'll attempt wild haymaker, employ elbow block, then body stab. Block feral left, weaken right jaw. Now fracture. Cut open ribs. Traumatize solar plexus. Slice off jaw entirely. Stab to diaphragm. Then shame. In summary, ears ringers, jaw completely removed, 3 ribs dismembered, 4 broken, diaphragm hemorrhaging. Physical recovery probably 1 minute according to gameplay, full psychological recovery, NEVER Talion: what?
Steven Sanchez don't worry in the story you don't kill him just shame him so he's not dead and later after that mission he ambushes you randomly so you can just brand him then but you have to make him loyal or else he will keep betraying you so I just gave him the fort and he stayed loyal
I recruited him again but he ended up being found out as a spy. Next playthrough I'm just going to kill him after his questline. Big lug doesn't deserve being left like that. Baz and Daz were right, breaking his mind was too far.
I love how in this game every orc has a unique personality and a backstory Makes me want to meet all of them, specially with Brûz, and the singer one (Can't remember his name)
After unlocking the final achievement for Peace In Death, I appointed Bruz as the Overlord for the last fort. Just the way he was standing, all wearied and in despair with lumped shoulders and down turned eyes was a sad sight indeed. It is really bad that there was no alternate choice in which we could have given the fort initially to Bruz, I understand it now because the game intentionally wants us to be like Talion in his footsteps of being turned into a monster. Still, I can't help but feel terrible for Bruz. (Thanks for reading you guys, happy gaming and good days to you)
Ivan The HyperrealTraveller What becomes of Bruz is heartbreaking. You robbed him of his mind, he literally only speaks of the fort now. Death would’ve been better.
Orcs are typically considered incapable of good. This isn`t exactly true but under Sauron`s influence of evil they certainly are. When did an orc show mercy or kindness in canon? We never see an orc commit a good act. Orcs do secretly resent Sauron and his master Morgoth and they do want to be free despite their evil nature. I believe if left alone and not contacted they would live in peace. This game shows (although not canon) that orcs with their own free will do have some sense of humanity to them. We know through the series Orcs do feel fear and pain. Goes to show that "Good" even in LOTR commits plenty of shady actions.
"My black speech is a little rusty -- actually, I don't know a single word; language is a pain in the arse." Bruz is hilarious, and we'll quote everything he says.
What I find interesting, well this is how I see it anyway, but Brûz basically let us know the type of person he is before we recruited him. When he calls that Uruk an "opportunist" and says he's the same way, he basically let the players know that he's gonna use us for his own gain. Once he heard that if any other orcs came after us, soon following as well, he came up with the plan to take over the fort in Nurn. It's why he went after our boys that were our bodyguards, warchiefs, and overlord. He also tried to stop RatBag from warning Talion about the fort coming under attack.
Bruz goes from calling the overlord "Big as a mountain, and deadly smart", to refusing to work for them. I guess it's a real broken pedestal situation for him. He found out the truth, and was disappointed.
Bruz doesn’t have many of the Branded’s traits. No glowing eyes or handprints. Seems like the branding failed, but he decided to give it a go on your side anyway.
Funny I just noticed Bruz’s first line portrays the overall nature of his questline and forshadows his character; sizing up an impossible situation and saying “Yeah, ill have a go” is exactly what bruz does when he decides to betray you and actually believes he can actually take you down despite knowing that it doesn’t matter how many times talion dies, he’ll always return and likely with the motive of destroying you in every way imaginable
I gotta say, doing such a thing to Bruz - or ANYONE, for that matter - really made me uncomfortable. I know it's just a game and it's not real, yeah I get that, but still. Having suffered a mental breakdown in the past, I could feel the pain that would come from something like this. Shit was awful. Guess Bruz was right in the beginning.
Yaoi Marik Yeah, you are right, I used shame on an orc once cos i wanted to lower his level to recruit him for the legendary upgrade but i mistakenly killed him, Then i shamed another dark tracker and he was really really broken, couldn't even mutter a word just screams and moaning That was really uncomfortable and felt bad, so i kept him as my bodyguard the entire time in that region and made him overlord Still doesn't feel right... That really was a shitty move and i didn't even knew i was doing it...
watch this youtube video called "Shadow of War - Don't shame Orc too much or this will happen", the guy shames an orc so much he becomes unable to speak and just whimpers instead, amazing how they made me feel bad for a twisted war mongering orc that doesn't even exist.
I agree, after finishing that mission I instantly disabled the worse than death perk because of two reasons first being I don’t wanna see any other orcs like that and second being they lose to many levels so if u wanna recruit them u then need to level them up again
Pyromancing Plasmid it was infuriating immediatly, made a kinda cool charactef into scrappy doo. I hated all the tutorials because they forced you into them without the chance to skip
