Now this is a real shame to see in the junkyard. Someone junked a 1975 Chevy Caprice Classic Convertible that literally looked like it was a hot battery away from driving out of the junkyard. Well it may have needed a little more like air in the tires as well as some gas but not much more. 75 was also the last year of the convertible in the GM B body line and there weren't many Caprice Classic Convertibles made that year as well. This one was obviously someone's project that ultimately never got to be finished. It was left in primer and there were body working supplies still in the truck from years prior. The interior while weathered, looked to have had some upholstery work. It power windows, locks, trunk release, as well as a tilt steering column. It also had a power bench seat. under the hood reside a very well preserved 400 Chevy small block with new or reman parts. I bet there was nothing wrong with it. The only rust I could see was in the lower quarter panels and the rear floor boards. Other than those spots this one solid car. There were even new tires on it. I inquired about possibly purchasing the entire car but not such luck. It's being parted out and soon will meet the crusher. A real shame I tell you as I lay 8,349 1975 Caprice Classic Convertibles were made. This one didn't deserve this ending.
