Canto Melon mandy was raped by her father. mickey was forced to me fucked my a female because of his father. he beat on them. he’s a drunk doesn’t do shit for them. held a gun to mickey and mickeys boyfriend. gallagher’s been through a lot but they seem lucky compared to the milkovich kids
Emma Grace I didn’t say the Milkoviches didn’t have it bad. They had it terrible, though the Gallagher’s aren’t considered “lucky”. They didn’t have a good upbringing either, none of their problems should be undermined.
@@emmagrace9675 Neglect is a form of abuse so that and psychological abuse along with abandonment, drug abuse and alcoholism can leave scars just as bad or worse than physical and or sexual abuse. Both family's stories are tragic and sad but the Gallaghers had a maternal light in their lives (Fiona) who was just barely an adult and the Milkovichs didn't have that.
they shouldve kept these scenes, especially the one with kenyatta and mandy. i think it really opens up more things about mandy and mickey's characters.
I was always wondering why on the show, Mickey didn't really do anything about Mandy being abused. I was kind of confused because he was so protective of her in the first season (when they thought Ian raped her). Now I finally got the answer. They should have kept these scene!
Julliana Inding well Kenyatta is more than twice his size, he might be able to get some good punches in but that would result in him getting his ass beat and Mandy getting beat more because of it. There was absolutely nothing he could do but try and convince her she was too good for that shit.
Probably because of how it ended maybe? Like it should be against domestic violence not for domestic violence. I kinda find the ending that way, which isn't the way it should end? Like I'm pissed af. I just don't understand what they were trying to prove here. Are they trying to paint Mickey as a bad character or were they trying to actually go against the no domestic violence thing or were they trying to make us see why domestic violence is not always bad?? Idk I don't get it at all. I wish they edited the shitty part out and put it in the show or just, you know, let Mickey speak and all others just listen to him, otherwise just support him like they should, instead of talking shit smh
They should have kept both scenes. Especially the last one. Mickey was ready to kill Ian when he thought he had hurt Mandy. It doesn't make sense why Mickey isn't doing anything about the fact that Kenyatta hit Mandy, because he would do something about it. These scenes were good, and important! Bad decision to cut them out Shameless!!
maybe because he is 6'8, 250lb black man compared to 5'10, 140lb skinny red head boy. Where were his 40 yr old looking giant brothers that were going to help him beat up Ian when you need them? Jail?
excuse me, did you say hit mandy? I don't know because the show I watched he used her face as a punching bag. What happened to their car? The brain damager?
Maybe they took these scenes out because of pacing or they thought it made Mickey seem too soft, but I love them because it shows that he isn't just a thug, he has a moral code and he genuinely loves and cares about Mandy.
Apart from showing Mickeys morals, the second scene explains why Mickey was so annoyed when he threw a pillow at Ian and asked him if he should call Ian's boss. Now I know the reason of his irritation- Mickey was upset because of Mandy. Without this scene you can think that Mickey was just being abusive. They shouldn't have deleted this. it's really important.
Mickey also seemed upset when he asked if ian went to work and mandy said she didnt know. And then yea he opens the door and ians still asleep ans still in the same spot where mickey let him that morning and thats when they find out he was in a depressive episode and that he was bipolar
:)))) omg, Mick's Pen + that avatar 😂😂😂 Got me lmao :))) That pic is a voiced-picture , like i literally heard the whole scence that Mick tuk tuk pressing pen sound , Ian's tsk tsk with the dental floss .... aaaaarrrgghhh! Love ittttt
Why did they delete ALL the Mickey scenes?! Are they fuckin kidding us?! Especially in the 2nd it's pretty obvious that Mickey cares deeply about Mandy and we needed to see that!! 😠
I honestly can't believe how it's possible for somebody like Mickey who's grown around abuse and violence to be such a coherent and kindhearted young man. I love him so much 😭💕
If they made a show about the Milkovich’s family story and what they go through, it would be way more interesting js. I also love seeing Mickey being a protective big brother 😂
I honestly don't understand why when Mandy told Mickey and his brothers that Ian attacked her they all went after him but when this guy is clearly hitting her and they do nothing. I love Mickey he's one of my favourites but I wish the writers made it so that Mickey and probably his brothers would mess that guy up, or atleast threaten him or something
T 995 maybe mandy didn’t want them to go through any trouble for that. it was probably mandy’s doing. i guess mickey also figured that mandy’s real demons were within her: she believed she deserved it. maybe they wanted her to realise she had to face kenyatta, even with her brothers having her back. i don’t know.. it’s kind of f*cked up but maybe that’s the point
It could also be because before he had nothing to lose so he wasn't afraid of anything, but then he had Yevgeny, Svetlana and Ian so he couldn't just risk everything. He had to be careful.
i always wondered why mickey had been so protective toward his family (seen season 1 when mickey tried to beat ian up) but did not do anything toward the fact that mandy was being abused... now i get the answer
@@Kaltenacht22 yeah me either. This is like the 5th comment that said, they always wondered why Mickey didn't do anything about that dude beaten mandy especially since he went all gung ho on trying to beat Ian over false accusations in season 1 but after watching this clip, they get it now. Like WTF! Did I miss something? Mandy admitted she's a mess and there is no line of guys wanting to take her out, so, "it's ok!" So Mickey was like, sister has low self esteem. ok, carry on! Good grief!
I love how Mickey and Ian do get into physical fights, but I wouldn't consider them to be abuse at all. It's just the way they grew up, and that's just what they do they beat each other up because of frustrations & wanting to feel alive, then they bang 😂
WHICH is exactly how Ian explained it to Caleb on their date. But all Gallavich fans heard was my ex abused me. They should all go back and watch it again. But I think they rather just stay mad and hate on Ian.
jeanne She’s been through a lot, I mean, her father used to come home drunk and RAPE HER. And I’m 70% Mickey must have had an inkling as to what was going on. But he never mentions it…
It was really a mistake to cut these scenes off, before I watched this I was wondering why Mickey wouldn’t do anything about Mandy’s stupid violence boyfriend , it was so annoying and may cause misunderstanding that Mickey only cared about Ian but didn’t want to help Mandy.
When he grabbed the bottle and his face! I can't imagine why they cut that scene it shows mickys impulses for the people he loves most both mandy and ian
I think they were cute because despite being great scenes, they aren't really essential to the plot of the episode. But they should found a way to keep them though.
These scenes , obviously, fit so well in the show. i don’t know why they would take them out - they go so well and show how mandy and mickeys lives really are outside of the milkovich house.
Honestly I get really irritated when they cut an Ian/Mickey scene Like why? Especially when it is adorable as fuck and it makes me especially angry how there are WAY more Mikey scenes cut out cuz I know that Nole works really hard on those scene and he is a fantastic actor so is Cameron so I'm not surprised that he left for a lil bit ❤
i feel like the main reason they cut these two scenes was because it makes Mickey seem hypocritical. ian and mickey DO have an abusive relationship, doesn’t matter that they’re both male & that they both hit each other, it’s still abusive. i have no doubt ian & mick love each other, it’s obvious they do, but they do have an unhealthy relationship. these scenes do tell us a lot about mickey & mandy but if they put them in the show it would just make mick seem hypocritical, cuz he & ian hit each other so it wouldn’t really make sense for mickey to be hating on mandy’s boyfriend for the abuse
They should have done a scene of why Mickey was hestitate to get close to the baby at first, to have someone say that despite how he was conceived he's still your son
Yeah, I used to not understand--I love kids--but then I remembered that, if Yev is Mickey's, he is the product of rape. And kinda the reason that Mickey had to marry Svetlana and Ian ran off.
tierrarucker But in the first episode of season five they made it seem he had com to terms with the beaby, holding him and of course that scene in the police station in episode six, I just wish they had done mor of showing how he got over that reluctense By the way there is a petition out there to bring Mickey back, go to google type bring Mickey Milkovich back to shameless petition and sign
+Nancy Cottone I've already signed it, thanks. I guess he just kind of realized you can't really blame the baby because it's not his fault. I read some fanfiction earlier this week about Mickey finally giving Yev a chance.
The fact that she just did everything in her power to keep him under her thumb and it didn't work makes me so happy for Mickey JFC once she got her anchor baby she should have left him in peace instead of blackmailing him and using that kid as currency. I can't believe she worked with Kev and Paco to keep him poor such a terrible woman.
