@kaimialana I don't think Mr. Kmetz is the one who labeled this video as "God of Shamisen." His RU-vid account is shamikami . This is just someone's high opinion of Mr. Kmetz. Also, I've only seen videos of three really good Shamisen players on RU-vid; and I think they're all involved in the same supergroup, Monsters of Shamisen.
Actually Mr. Kmetz is ranked here in Japan. kaimialana, dude has a ton of talent and actually teaches classes here in Japan so before you go basing all your great knowledge of it off the Yoshida Brothers, I suggest you do a little research.. I know in your great wisdom of the Tsugaru Shamisen you might have thought this was a hack but I assure you, he is legit.
