This game is a dream for hong Kong film fans, better than mainstream current fighting games, I love the fact that the moves look authentic martial arts, would be cool to see Tyson's ip man character in there
I grew up watching these films. Keep up the good work, I bought the first one and loved it, I'll show my support by buying this one too once it's available on steam.
I have to say this as well. I lived by a rule through all my years of gaming that no system is worth full price just for the experience of one game. There had to be multiple reasons to make such a big purchase. But this game is about to shatter that rule for me😂. I don't have a gaming PC but I've been looking at them since I found out about 1st SvW. It's dream come true for me like I said previously. Excellent work.
I just found out about this game a few days ago and its looks and plays so awesome. Everything from the music and sound effects to the graphics and settings. The care, respect, and detail to everything is great working with ever budget you had is amazing. I WANT THIS. AWESOME GAME TO COME OUT ON PS4 NOW Please!!! I don't want to have to grab a Switch to play this. Alot of people on PlayStAtion want this. We didn't know we even needed this game in our lives. Never stop this game series cause it can go on forever like these legends. You guys I believe in because I see the love it took to make a game like this. As soon as this comes to PS4 I will grab Shaolin vs Wu-tang 1 and 2 while on vacation.

This would be dope also if you can interact with the environment picking up weapons,crashing into things,fighting in air sequence onto rooftops,close up fighting animation during the those travel fighting sequence etc . This game is soooooo dope i am definitely supporting 🙌
Hability to disable the shaking camera would be great. This one seems more polished gameplaywise good job! Also the SNK evade is awesome! OOOh and you put only the character looking realist with their weapon (doesn't noticed a magic goku wood back fixed weapon ;)
Happen to stumble across this game while browsing the Xbox games menu.... To the developer, I say AMAZING JOB! You have created something so unique, fun, and full of nostalgia. From the most hardcore to casual martial arts movie fan you will recognize at least one if not all the characters and fighting styles. The possibilities of games like this are endless, you could apply this to 80s and 90 action heroes, Saturday morning retro cartoons, with this gameplay engine. Great job man!
I just found out about part1 today and now a part 2 is out?? Wow! And I wonder if RZA from Wutang knows about this game? 😂 The sound effects just makes this game complete! I'm so impressed with the playable characters!
Also I beg for someone to bring back NCAA College Football & Basketball games including drafting the players to Madden and NBA2k but we know EA Sports & 2K Sports are different game developers some how they need to make this work for Basketball NCAA Football is with EA Sports& Madden NCAA Basketball is with EA Sports but NBA2K is under 2K Sports.They need to remake Scarface game also.
Just bought today, great game, great flowing combat and most of all clear differences in techniques. For example I see wing Chun using the centerline and roll punching or Karate using actual blocks like Soto uke.

Bought SvW1 for my Xbox and boy oh boy I love this game. I grew up on this and I’m loving it. Can’t wait till 2 drop on console🙏🏾. I appreciate your talent.
I don't get excited for new games anymore but I am legitimately excited for this. The only thing that can make this better is a higher emphasis on defensive techniques such as counters and reflections. Keep up the good work. I will be buying on day one.

The fluent combinations and scenery makes it look so authentic and real. I wish the eagle claw Hwang Jang Lee wld be on the second one. My favourite bad guy from back in the old days. @@JaeLee83 I am a huge gamer in the Xbox community I usually only play GTA online the only game that I switched off and started streaming is this game I was hoping to find out and I've been asking for about a year now will this game ever come to Xbox Shaolin versus Wu-Tang part 2 I very much enjoyed the first one but there is so much more that needs to be added to the Wing Chun and as a practitioner I'd love to help with any and all future endeavors this is the best game the game we've all been waiting for a true nostalgic feeling I strongly believe in my heart because of this game the United States even took a stab at love and appreciation for martial arts henceforth karate kids new Netflix sensation Cobra Kai ..

I really enjoyed the first Shaolin vs Wu Tang, and the sequel looks like it'll be even more awesome. Fingers crossed that this one comes out on Nintendo Switch like the first game.

This looks awesome. I'm going to purchase it in a moment. Loved the original! Just an idea, how about for your next game taking inspiration from the more overtly fantasy based Wuxia/Xianxia stuff that became popular in HK? You know, people flying on swords, Daoist monks with various powers (for example, you could take inspiration from the various characters in the Chinese Ghost Story series or from the Legend of Zu), etc.
I grew up on all the old Kung Fu movies I've been waiting my hole life for a game like this now they need to make side scrolling beat em up or action adventure game wondering around towns doing missions

So I just bought this off Steam and dude you've outdone yourself! This is a massive improvement from the first one and you say it's still only in Early Access?? I can't wait to see the final product... I just have one tiny criticism though... Where's the Wong Fei Hung characters' Shadowless Kick? Lol All jokes aside though, u take me back to my childhood of watching old school kung fu movies on video tapes and late night TV and as I'm switching through the character select screen I'm trying to see which kung fu stars I can notice (u added Sonny Chiba and Etsuko Shihomi from the Streetfighter and Sister Streetfighter films! ) Keep it up man, hoping we get a Shaolin vs Wutang 3 in the future!

Impressive, it is the game that I always dreamed of with my friends, having all the representatives of the martial arts cinema is uff I have no words, here are the culprits because I studied martial arts, to the developer I just say thank you for this genius and please yes You can read this add Miyagi, Daniel LaRusso and Steven Seagal, and more iconic outfits, like Van Damme short pants, Bruce Lee yellow outfit and Jackie Chan white shirt and blue jean, please please please !!!

From what I heard, the developer wanted to see how well the first one did to release the 2nd soon after. Let's hope they keep their word on this fantastic game. It's at the novice level compared to MK but just as much if not more fun.. I've been asking for this type of game for over 20 yrs and it's finally here. Lets see if Netherealm can join in with their developers to improve it to the max..
I can't wait to own the 1st one on the Nintendo switch next month. I'm planning to buy it definitely. I might even buy it on my GPD WIN 2 early or even today. The moves and everything is flawless. Man I would like to see you working with Yu Suzuki on a project like one of my very few favorite games which is Shenmue. That game has so many martial art forms I could see your work in. It's dedication what you do that's why I like it.

Shaolin vs Wutang 1 was the best fighting game ever created impo. Hopefully 2 improves by letting us block with a controller button instead. Please developers, if you are reading this, consider it.

Was browsing the Xbox Marketplace this morning when the first game popped up in my "Just For You" tab. Halfway through the trailer I was sold. As an older cat from NYC, THIS is the game I've waited all my life for. Shaolin vs Wu-Tang is one of my favorite Kung Fu flicks of all time. Along with Kid with The Golden Arms, Chinese Super Ninjas and many others. So many countless kung fu movies I've watched, along with more modern flicks... To see the great attention to detail, the level of respect, the music that was added. I had to buy it. I'm hoping the support helps get this game (Part 2) ported to Xbox as well. I'll be buying it first day. The only small, very small gripe I have is that there's no character representing Wu-Tang. Are there any forums that I can follow to keep tabs on this game? You guys did a hell of a job and deserve the respect and recognition of some bigger developers. Peace.

Shaolin vs Wutang i was thinking that too for adding billy chong classic, but from super power movie with nature fist technique, very unique. Also gotta add bruce leroy lol and shonuff, with the glow fists/aura. Also jet li in fist or legend (chen zen character). Maybe also jackie chan Hong kong classics from 80s, like benny the jet urquidez (meals on wheels, dragons forever) which leads to jackies crew too lol yuen biao and sammo hung...at the end of the day keep this pure, no need for tekken/street fighter characters, strictly nostalgic 70s/80s and few 90s movie characters..., oohh cynthia rothrock cant forget her lol and for ninja classic characters can check out or add shoguns ninja, good characters there too (sonny china) To complete the package gotta find a way to sample those classic english dub voices, beginning and end of match...ie classic ghostface killah.. ie “may u rot in hell! hahaha

Give us more than one super move per character. Please consider 1. Special Skills (using half Power Bar) 2. One desperation move (When the Life Bar is Red)... 2. One Super Move (using Full Power Bar) 3. One Super Desperation Move (when the Life Bar is red and the Power Bar is full)
I love that you added costumes my only wish is for part 3 you should add the girls from kill bill people from Kung fu hustle and maybe forbidden kingdom characters but I know that will be a while from now love your games wish you had more people behind you
Such a long way since Kings of Kung-Fu. I promote Shaolin Vs Wu Tang wherever i can (essentially France bc i'm french). I'm a kung-fu movie fan and this is the dream game fans wanted. You're so true to the genre.
