Ironically that exact same day Shaq retired, Kevin left TNT to become the next head coach of the Houston Rockets Was announced like 5 hours after Shaq retired, so he was ready to give up his seat immediately lol
LycanVonWolf No shit he didn't do anything unless someone passed him the ball. He's a Center. That's like saying, Steph Curry didn't deserve the MVP because he didn't block shots.
@@JohnGabanna12imagine spelling “imagine” wrong, and talking shit on a 10 year old comment😂 10 years ago you weren’t even using the word glaze u goofy ass npc
+NOFOCKYOU dude they are family friends...its like a big brother lil brother thing...their mommas were best friends...that's why they go at each other....cause they know where the line is....
In his prime..there was absolutely NO ONE on this planet..except me..who could stop Shaq. He could over power anybody..except me. He was a beast..a monster..a terror. His kryptonite..free throws..OMG. Maybe Wilt would have given him some trouble..but not many others..except me. Am I high??..well.. yes I am. I enjoyed his career. I remember him in LSU. We would have made great team mates. 82-0..16-0 in the play offs..until we both retired.
LycanVonWolf Lol with these divas trying to hold him down? haha Shaq would easily over power these kids there not even called centers or power fowards. They go by numbers or stretch 5s and stretch 4s lol. Shaq would foul out all the other oppositions roster. They wouldn't do nothing after running out of players.
He went from a Laker to a member of the Heat to a Sun to a Cav to a Celtic. Not quite the same. I mean, Rick Fox literally went from the Celtics to the Lakers.
It's hilarious how Chuck called Shaq "One of the nicest people you'll ever meet" 😂 I mean we know Shaq always means well but he's definitely rub some the wrong way and its just funny all the times he got into it with Chuck since this
Wow. Now in November 2017, Shaq actually joined the show, Kevin Mchael got fired from the Rockets and now hes back to making some decent bucks broadcasting lol
He might actually be right as Shaq accounced his retirement on June 1st and Kevin Mchale officially signed with Houston on May 28th, and was holding negotiations before.
I remember watching Shaq as a 5 year old and fearing he was the only force that could stop my Bulls. Dude was just a completely different energy and glow on the court during his Orlando run. Insanely athletic. It's a shame he let himself go a bit once he got paid
……Fast forward to the future it’s 2024 and now TNT is at risk of losing their NBA rights, which means Shaq, Kenny, Chuck and Earnie might have to split up
"come on, you might look silly just wearing one!" lol Ernie is hilarious! They should fire either Kenny (let's face it there's only person at risk). He's a perfect fit to play off Charles. Shaq should just be the fourth person... Simple. I can't wait.
Yet he wasted his true potential. He has admitted that in the off season he would just be out partying, not working on his games at all and not take care of his body, and come back for training camp and expect to be good (just because of how big he was and would say that you don't need to be fit to dunk). He played 70+ games a season in only 7 of his 20 seasons. He played 55 or less games during 8 of his 20 seasons. This is purely down to him not taking care of his body. If he worked hard in the off seasons on his body he would of got injured far less and would of come out far higher on those best ever stat lists. Also the fact he didn't work on his skill set in the off season either. He always said "he just wasn't a shooter therefore he could never shoot free throws". The fact is, he never worked on his weaknesses in the off season so he never developed them.
Why don't people like Inside The NBA?! To me it's the greatest sports show, the main reason I watch the games on TNT. It's so funny. I hope Chuck, Shaq, Ernie and Kenny stay!
um, kobe picked it up which was a good thing for the team, but you still cannot say that kobe was the main guy for that team as SHAQ was clearly the MVP for those three championships. He was the MAN who pulled the weight for this team, and kobe did a good job helping to lead the Lakers to those titles.
i saw highlights when Shaq when he was in Orlando. i was like "Damn, & he couldn't bring a championship to Orlando?" if he would've stay in Orlando like Dirk in Dallas, Shaq could've brung at least 2 or 3 championships to Orlando. Oh well...
@RydahReborn : shaq would've won a ring with a top notch PF, SF, or PG he didn't necessarily need a SG....but in 2000 he would've won with just role players since kobe didn't even put up sidekick numbers but role player numbers...so replace kobe with someone like eddie jones & lakers still win that series.
@MrSpacecowboy1 : you are a true Lakers fan that i can respect....i hate when kobe fans say it was all kobe that won those rings & that's why they "got rid " of shaq...they know shaq was getting old. of course kobe helped but you're right shaq was the leader, kobe fans just don't seem to get that.
