Nice Video. ...well done....One thing i noticed that was mentioned and I think it may depend as far as the term "hidden"...Teams comes with an email address if they want to email the team (sort of hidden), but does not come with a hidden calendar that I see. You need to go to files/open in sharepoint/site contents/add new app/search for cal* and then add it to use...unless I am missing something? Most use planner and its calendar view for team calendar from what I have seen (but of course does not integrate with outlook
Yup thanks for that. You’re right the calendar can be accessed from SharePoint online and outlook, but not from Teams, maybe that will become clearer in future but I rarely use the calendar in Teams anyway!
Nice video, the closest I have seen to addressing my questions related to O365 Groups, Teams and Sharepoint Team Sites. Specifically I would like to see more regarding the group email and group calendar. Is the email just a distribution list, is a shared mailbox, is there a choice? We have several use cases where a shared email would work better than a distribution list, but even a clearer understanding of what we do get with O365 groups would be extremely helpful. Also the group calendar, I would like to see more on. And I think at the end of the video you said you didn't get the O365 email or calendar if you started things as a Team. Is there any way to add those after the fact, like maybe from the Sharepoint site that is generated from the Team? A new video focused on those clarifying aspects of O365 group email and Calendar would be awesome. Thanks.
Your video got me to look at this again. So when I go into the admin console, I see that each team does in fact have an email address associated with it. If I email that address, the only place that I am seeing it right now is in the activity feed for the sharepoint site that is created from the Team. I do see it there, and can reply to the message there (the reply is 'from' the account I am viewing the activity feed from). I don't see a shared email box for the team in Exchange, and in Outlook, when I go to discover Groups, that team's O365 group does not come up in the search. What is driving the functionality of that email address, and are there other views in Outlook, Teams or Sharepoint that I can use to beyond the activity feed to make use of this messaging capability?

Hey. Thanks for the comments, I’m glad you like the video, I hope it assisted to make sense of how the products fit together, personally I don’t love the groups calendar or email address, I don’t feel it adds much value for myself. Just on a dive trip on some remote islands with sporadic internet but I’ll check out your link after the new year!
