I'm growing my hair out to learn patience , selfcontrol and learning to not focuses on what I can't control and not worry so much about it.

This reminds me of the time I first shaved my head when I was 20 years old. It was so liberating! And I felt sexier than I ever felt before. lol. I still have short hair but I've filled out some in my "old age". I miss the androgyny.

Through talk therapy, for exactly a year now today, I have realized so many things, but mainly one thing: I deserve the space I take up. I have spent my life “earning” my space, as if I didn’t already earn it by just being. You said exactly what is my big lesson in life.
