Really? You had "FUN" SITTING THERE FOR 29 HOURS AND 37 MINUTES BRUSHING OUT YOUR GROTTY LITTLE "DREADS" - WHY DO PEOPLE ALWAYS FEEL THE NEEDTO SAY THE SAME STUPID S*** AND TRY TO BE POSITIVE AT THE END OF A VIDEO? NOBODY WOULD HAVE HAD FUN DOING THAT SO DON'T FKN S A Y IT.
Currently on my journey to finding what’s right for me. I’m on my third nexplanon implant and the weight gain, mood swings and low libido are really starting to make me hate it. I don’t want kids ever and get anxiety about going birth control less and tracking/using condoms solely. My partner and I have not been together long enough to make more permanent decisions like a vasectomy. I’m also apprehensive to getting my tubes tied because at 22 it’ll be a struggle to get a gyno to go forward with the procedure. I’ve been looking at IUD stories and so many people have removals before they are up and it’s just becoming hard to weigh the pros and cons of what’s right for me and my body. Was there ever a time when you struggled getting off birth control and going a more natural route to preventing pregnancy? Any tips for someone struggling with the decision currently?
hi love, thanks for your comment and for sharing your journey. if i were you - i'd connect deeper to my womb, and follow influencers like @mamadelamyco on instagram - she talks about natural birth control herbs like queen anne's lace, cotton root bark (check out her pinned post on IG) and others. i know that birth control can feel like an endless loop. i did struggle with getting off birth control, only because i was not educated correctly on the 4 phases of my cycle. learning that my fertile window is only ~5 days out of the whole month really shifted things for me. it no longer gives me anxiety, because i am aware of where i'm at in my cycle. you & your partner can choose to not make love while you're ovulating. i've been thinking of getting the "oura ring" and connecting it to "natural cycles" - i'm not currently taking my temperature every day cuz i just haven't felt i need to - but it'll be helpful to see the accuracy of where my body is at in my cycle for when my partner & i are wanting to get pregnant. you can use it for the same thing for avoiding pregnancy. imo, i feel so much better since realizing the sacredness of my womb and my bleed each month, flowing with the 4 phases of my cycle and how it pairs with the moon, i've taken my power back. i know birth control can help some people feel empowered in a sense, but i'm so over it. our wombs want to be heard and respected, haha. sending you deep breaths & peace as you navigate through this important journey, may you find an option that relaxes you and is right for you.
I got the Mirena IUD and it has hormones but not estrogen, so it actually helps to prevent cancer. It also doesn't have the effect that the copper one does with cramps and heavier bleeding. The Mirena IUD help prevent cancer, reduces bleeding and may even stop your periods and the Mirena only takes at most 4 months for your body to get use too. That being said I got the Mirena because I was having heavy bleeding due to perimenopause. The hormones in the Mirena only go to the Uterus and I will say it again helps prevent cancer.
IT SO CRAZY OVULATION WASNT KNOWN ABOUT. I literally had to explain it to my mother in law She didnt believe me until i ppanned my pregnancy exactly lol
Mine fell out my first period and then i got horrible periodds for a year, the 1st paraguard iud video after you got it was how i found you on youtube!!!
I had mine inserted yesterday. The pain after my insertion was immense and made me throw up. After I threw up and rested I felt much better. This morning I feel the same as yesterday, I have to take medication. I hope I don’t experience this everyday. I’ll give it two months and see if I get better.
I was moaning and groaning when they measured my uterus but not inserting the iud. And the pain on lasted a few seconds and I did bleed to a good three days then just spotting. Best birth control ever. It’s been about 2 weeks now and I just have light lower back cramps. But I feel fine and my partner doesn’t feel it.
helpful, thank you!!! I don't have dreds, but I have the same type of hair as you and I have a huge extremely dense set of knots - I'm trying this tonight. Blessings!
Thank you for posting this! I've really wanted to start doing my hair like vikings, but my hair is incredibly long (to my butt) and I was worried that I would have to cut them out when I wanted to remove them. This helped me with doing some research, so thank you again!
