I knew his big hit, “Lullaby” from 98/99 and really liked it. Never heard anything else from him until 2015 when I heard this playing in the lobby of the hotel I worked at. I Shazam’d it and was pleasantly surprised to see that it was Shawn! I thought for sure it was a new single or something but read that it was from 2000? I couldn’t believe that this didn’t get more radio play! I LOVE THIS SONG!
Most of the good music is streamed now. Radio mostly sux but I like a lot of the new top 40 stuff.I just get tired of hearing same song every 15 minutes.
Everywhere I Go was playing in the 99 Cents Only Stores store on Vanness Blvd. (I admit I was riding a bus and can only guess the area of "The Valley" in Northside of Los Angeles. Anyway, this song...I'd never heard it before that day; 2014. *I haven't stopped playing it in the years since. Shawn, great under-known (?) song.
Shawn Mullins is so talented. Love his style - down to earth, creative, and positive. I've been looking for this song for a while now, and I'm so glad I found it!
I know this world is screwed when they pump people like gaga and other gimmicks when Shawn is so great. His music is so real. It touchs a poor soul and makes it feel so much better. Thank you Shawn. I'm looking and trying hard to catch you live. I love this song but Shimmer spins me out. It makes me feel pain and pleasure and other emotions all at the same time.
Visited relatives in new Zealand at the end of 2004, bought beneath the velvet sun not really knowing much about Shawns music, ended up constant play in the hire car for a month. Great album full of real tunes. this one's my fave.
Even though lullaby was a much much much bigger hit this song got a little bit of radio play where I live in Toronto Canada and I fell in love with this song my daughter and I still sing it together to this day it's a beautiful song great memories
This song hits different when you’re in love for the first time ever. I’ve also been listening to good old Shawn ever sense i was 13 and now I’m 36…same with Matthew Kahler. 😄 wasn’t into him or Matt at first but their songs grew on me. When I hear a new song of theirs I think I’m not into it but once again I find myself loving it. That’a real music right there. 😃
I just discovered this song a few months ago, thanks to the muzak in a store. It’s a very well done song from beginning to end. The lyrics actually say something.

That's only one of so many sweet and clever lyrics by him. Mr. Mullins If you happen to ever read this, I want to tell you I think you're a phenomenal talent. Very popular but in my mind not even close to the popularity deserved. I hope you're still writing and creating, and have lots of love around you. You know, to take wherever you go :)

I remember hearing this song for the first time during my college days. I fell in love with the beauty melody and decided I had to find out what the name of the song is! Once I found out, I went out and bought the CD. It was the first time I ever bought a CD the same day I first heard a song on it.
I remember seeing this on VH1's Top Twenty Video Countdown back in December 2000. It has been close to 18 years since I last saw this video but it showed up on recommended.
