Excellent presentation! What's GREATLY appreciated is that you showed the locations by themselves and didn't feel the need to be filming yourself talking like so many other irritating people feel the need to do.

The cell blocks were filmed in a purpose built set within the old Westinghouse facilities at another location in town. The Westinghouse facilities have been demolished since 2011. The front room inside of Bissman Building also served as the offices of the "Portland Daily Bugle" where the editor received the Warden's accounting ledgers and a letter from Andy explaining the Warden's illegal activities.

It's hard to believe this movie tanked on the big screen but was saved by the DVD release? This is easily a top 10 classic in any century.
