i first found the song “for the departed” and it made me feel like the main character in an edgar allen poe short story because of the few references in there, so i decided to give a listen to the album. i definitely feel like a villain sitting on a tall building in a suit, who has finally defeated the hero but isn’t sure how to feel and move one after that.

You're my favorite artist at the moment, and I've forced several of my friends to listen to several of your songs, and they all love you! This is my favorite album of all time!

This album is DELICIOUS and I will be promptly ranting about it because I am insane. Firstly!!! The vibes are UNMATCHED! I don't know how an album was so perfectly composed to be my EXACT music taste. Like legitimately. I have never heard music like this before-- music that is just so what music should be. The vocals are perfect, the lyrics, the instrumentals *kisses hand like a stereotypical Italian* mama mia that's a spicy meataballa! I just love this album so much. Every song on it is peak music. There isn't a single thing I dislike musically about it, and ontop of that, it also seems to be chocked full of everything I love about music. I am so unbelievably happy that Spotify recommended me your music after listening to Will Wood. Like your music is just perfect for me and I haven't been able to stop listening to and thinking about it since I came across it. I wish you all the best in your career and I sincerely hope that more people find your music! I'll be eagerly anticipating every new release. Also, For The Departed is my favorite, in case you were wondering. After seeing the film "Psychopaths" (which, had it not been for the ending credits song "two dollars and a dime", I would have regretted watching for obvious reasons) I was accidentally introduced to this artist. The best part of the movie was his voice, indirectly applied to accompany film credits (yet it was an appropriate choice in closing such a horrific film). Though unique, his sound and style combine the emotion and profundity of Freddy Mercury and Chris de Burgh (Lady in Red). In our consumer-obsessed society, it's good to know that talent is not yet dead.

Still in love with "Villainous Thing". Really like the lyrics. Even inspired me to create an OC. Your voice is really nice to hear. I don't really have words to describe well what I feel (my english suck a bit too) but yeah - It's a great album. Even though some years passed. I don't even think it sounds "old". Songs like those are timeless

This is an underrated album, and shayfer James is such an underrated artist. He reminds me of hozier, they both have a very soulful and powerful voice, and they both have a poetic way to their music!

saw you at your show in jersey city a bit ago there's something so much more raw being able to hear music performed live, but there's also something so much more polished with the fully produced version. In the end, I'm happy I was able to hear both. And it was mother fucking WILD that you got will wood on stage for Ferry Man and Ferry Man *only*. He has this... vibe about him, like he could kill a man with just a piano. He's fabulous. Anyways, You are able to catch this... this whimsy in your singing. It's dark and creative and so over the top and I love it.Those qualities can be hard to find so- thank you for being you I guess? And thank you especially for putting it out into the world. Been listening to this album for a while now. Though I got into It through Weight of The World and For the Departed like most did, I fell in love with another song. Peace. It's... So different, It's so unique, so real. It truly reminds me of works like Echoes from Pink Floyd. Maybe not for genre or style, or any of the such. But, one thing the two masterpieces have in common Is that they've both made me "Feel" something in a horrifying way. Both songs have made me have this "Oh god, Oh shit, what the fuck." Feeling throughout the song, like my jaw's unable to close from shock. Makes me always come back to this album again and again. Beautiful work.
