All I'm sayin is, The Origin which we're obligated by Islam 2follow is the Quranic verses & the authentic statements of the Prophet As for the 4 Madhaahib, we HAVE TO follow Their understanding; their opinions. *But, being a BLIND (closed-eyes) follower of just 1... yes, for the lay, dumb Muslim this is their only option But for us, Educated Muslims in America - its So crucial that we learn all 4 four standpoints, understand and respect them! And follow, yes, but with understanding
I agree with all that he said about following the Madhaahib (4 schools of Islamic jurisprudence), however, NONE of the four Madhaahib has more right to be followed than the other. They are all there for you to learn from, benefit from, and appreciate and follow! Listen: We are obligated to follow what Allah says, and what the Messengers says/does/orders and what the Companions of the Prophet said also. -- Right? agreed.
But now IN WHOSE UNDERSTANDING? In the understanding of our Righteous Forefathers, Abu Hanifa, Maalik, Ahmad, etc but what I'm saying is, WE have no right to give preference to what 1 of these Giants over the other. *We can't say, I will blindly follow 1, and all others I will discard and ignore. You Can't do that!! All of them are equal, not 1 of them is low & the other is high. So we should look @ALL THEIR 4 OPINIONS, and then choose what has stronger evidences to support it
