Before the hate comes and the bashing starts, Let’s all be nice here in the comment section. Sporto may have not liked this one, but that doesn’t mean he is right. And that also doesn’t mean he thinks she isn’t talented. As she obviously is. Just wasn’t his favorite. Everyone has tastes. I liked it more than he did. All in all it was fun listening to something new and out of our usual realm. 🤝✌️maybe we can change sportos mind with a different song choice. I hear something in her voice i like.

i'm definitely gonna be nice bc i fell in love with you guys since your beyoncé reactions. but i definitely have to disagree with sporto. i personally think ariana is one of the best vocals of the younger girls like selena gomez and them. and yeah she plays cat on both sam and cat and a show called victorious. her voice she does in that show is not her talking voice but her character is kinda crazy so that's why she sounds like that. pls do more of her!

Sporto is SPOT on... While Ariana Grande has a phenomenal voice, I struggle to enjoy or take her seriously cos she just seems too young to be singing "grown" songs... Stop pitting celebrities against each other and tearing them down, Rihanna's voice type is completely different from Ariana's so comparing the two that have completely different sounds to begin with is just evil. The girls have things they both lack, I've never heard Rihanna push her voice to the limits like pulling a Mariah, but even with Ariana being able to do this people still have a hard time hearing what she's saying when she sings normally. Can you really say she is 1000 times better if no one can hear what she's saying when she sings without her technique? 1000x better? Nah, that's a disgusting over exaggeration.

Yeah, I'll definitely give her a fair shake with several more songs. It's like we always say: "they can't all be hits". This even applies to our preferred genres. There are lots of songs by our favorite artists that we're mostly indifferent to or don't care for and other fans are like "c'mon now!". Amy Winehouse didn't had a high tone but it was extremely powerful, Kelly Clarkson has a light and high tone but she has a powerful voice, Ariana doesn't, she just do highs, but it isn't a problem, is just her voice, her talent, is just not soft.

I mean, it's totally ok if you personally don't like Ariana's voice, but saying she isn't a powerhouse singer...is not it. She has literally been praised by Patti LaBelle, Celine Dion, Barbra Streisand and has actually performed live with Barbra and Patti. I mean, you just can't perform with Barbra Streisand on her concert if you don't have a great voice. Ariana also has songs with Andrea Boccelli and Stevie Wonder. How many pop stars can say they have songs with Stevie Wonder??

definitely recommend you react to her more. this was a bad introduction song and they’re plenty better ones. she’s actually an amazing singer and i definitely recommend you to listen to her live. specifically “breathin” live at her sweetener world tour, (swt live). although this was a bad introduction song, she performs this song sooo well, so i would also like to recommend you to listen to that live (swt live), amazing vocals. i lastly would to like to say that i respect your opinion on her. yes, she is very petite and is known for such a soft voice. but she has improved so much after that time period in her life. this was in 2016 and her vocals from last year were phenomenal. same with this year but she was on tour last year so she was doing a lot.

Her live vocals is where it’s at. The way she’s able to control and play with her voice when it comes to ad-libs, runs, and even whistle notes every now and then. I would suggest her sweetener tour lots of great footage even from Coachella

Ariana, one of my faves😩😩😭 shes a powerhouse singer! That girl has soul! I will say her voice is bright and high but it fits her so well and makes her Ariana Grande. The little girl with the huge voice. idk who recommend this song first but this is definitely not the song to show off her vocals. Maybe her cover of emotions by Mariah Carey, Jason’s song, Breathin, Shes amazing live. You’ll love her. Honestly you should just do all her live performances because she’s that great.

This wasn’t the song to listen to😅 Definitely listen to some LIVE stuff. Vocal showcases, Tattooed Heart (not 2014), live album, Bang Bang (Capital ball 2016) My everything (2020)... these songs aren’t the best suggestions but they cover range agility and tone. For u it honestly may just be her tone, u may like the... raspier textured rougher voices that’s fine. But skill and technique Ari’s a queen.

Please check out “God is a Woman” or “No tears left to Cry” or her cover for “Emotions” by Mariah Carey please! Also when she was in Victorious and Sam and Cat she was a teenager/ early twenties. She’s 27 now but Cat was just a character and she hates it lol Sporto has to give her another chance he hasn’t seen what she can do, she’s definitely a much better singer than Selena Gomez! Im not a huge fan but I love her voice, she's got crazy vocals. I think I've never gotten really into her music because most of her singles don't showcase her talent in its full potential, which is fair enough coz she still makes hit after hit but yeah I dont blame sporto for his opinion coz I'm still divided even though I genuinely think shes one of the best mainstream vocalists. You should try her live stuff, shes unreal 😊

I think she’s a classical trained singer and even did Broadway before. Her voice today isn’t much different than what she sounds like here. She can sing but she stylized her vocals so she sounds unique because when she first came out she got some many comparisons to Mariah Carey. It doesn’t have to do with age or stature because if you check out Chole and Halle your when what power house vocals can be from such small women.

She's nothing like mariah Carey! And ariana's whistles are high but really weak and if you are a true fan then you'd know that her voice has declined so much in these few years! She is not a powerhouse but yeah she is a great singer and her vocals are amazing like wow ! She is one of the great singers in the modern era of pop music! She's really talented and her talent is her own and does not relate to any other great singer out there or a legend like mariah but her voice is really sweet and pleasant.

Mariah Carey didn’t just hit whistle notes she actually sang and did complex runs in whistle notes. She would be living in those whistle notes. Every time I’ve seen Ariana hit her whistle notes it was strained or prerecorded and just didn’t have the same ease as Mariah and she didn’t really spend time doing runs in them. Ariana is a good singer but Sporto is right she really isn’t as complex as the other singers he mentioned and lacks maturity in her tone, music choices and persona for the most part. Her music choices really for me is what just makes her not that great. I like god is a woman but other than that her songs are not very mature, she’s capable of more, but she stays in that teeny boppy music and she’s 27.

I love the honesty! I personally don’t care for the dangerous woman music video. I think you guys should check out her live stuff. I think you guys would like it better. She’s been compared to Mariah Carey for her vocals in the beginning of her career for her vocal agility. She does have a bigger voice. Great reaction, you guys had me laughing my ass off towards the end. Ariana does have a very good voice. She can hit really high notes and softer sounds which complements each other in a song. She even said in an interview that listening to her old songs annoyed her because of how high-pitched they were 😂 She does sing with a breathy voice quite often, and I think that's beautiful too, but what I like more about her is that she experiments a lot with her music, she can go from soul to reaggae in one single album. But whether one likes her style or not, one thing nobody can deny is that she has amazing singing skills. Btw, if you want to listen to a James Bond song by Ariana Grande, listen to Leave Me Lonely (Vevo presents). It is a live performance and her vocals are really good in that one.

Listen, I'm not an Ariana stan by any means (like I don't know a bunch about her as a person or her life), but I own three of her albums and her voice in AMAZING. I agree with others that you should listen to videos of her singing live. I think God is a Woman features some of her best vocals, but honestly, there isn't an untalented singing bone in her body.

This song was actually originally written with Carrie Underwood in mind. One of the writers said he wanted it to be more country and wanted Carrie to cut it. I still wonder what that would’ve sounded like haha.

dangerous woman isn’t probably a good song to listen to for a first time listener. she’s definitely THE vocalist of this generation. this song may sound “emotionless” because she doesn’t probably connect to it the way she did with her tracks on her thank you next album. overall i think you should see her sing live, it’ll change your opinion.

as a huge ariana grande fan i actually like hearing a reaction from someone who disliked her but who has a intersting opinion. even though he didn't like it and i adore her i understand his opinion and it was kinda cool to watch. but of course you should watch more performances especially the lives one because she actually got a powerful voice. also i do think you reacted to other ariana grande videos so i'm gonna watch it :) edit : she also featured very good vocalists which shows she's not some local singer if you see what i mean. there's a song with mariah carey and jhud, another with andrea boccelli, one with stevie wonder and these are just few exemples
