Palm dial being discontinued makes it arguably more valuable in the long term.

Well not necessarily because it wasn’t a very popular or sought after dial, it’s not the prettiest and thus not many people going for it to push up the price long term

Not a proper Rolex, but of course this kind of money can buy you a really nice watch. I think a good option would be an Omega Seamaster, you can't go wrong with it. Myself I wear a Tissot PRX - amazing watch for the money.
