It does that is why I love this franchise because it starts with the old films with Cornelius and the space man that is played by Charleston Heston and his girlfriend Nova then it goes to the ceaser trilogy then it comes back around to Nova now like a great circle that is why I know I'll love this movie 🎉😅
@@Winter-The-Masquerade I'm a little too young to have any nostalgia for any of the 80's cartoons, but I'm happy the reboot met or exceeded your expectations.
@@nathandts3401 I don't even really have any Nostalgia for the original show I just watched a bit of it after the reboot. And while the original is good the reboot is almost Shakespearean just with a LOT more gay. Like SOOO much, there is so much gay stuff in this show, it's amazing! 😍 But besides that the show is just so masterfully written with well-rounded and engaging characters and clever plots. It's got heroism, true love saves the day and random musical numbers. What's not to love? ;)
I like how they showed that even 300 years after apes started becoming smart and humans started becoming dumb, you still have some apes struggling with language fluency. In the beginning of the movie Noah and his friends arent talking fluently. Some kids from their tribe are, but not them. But as the story progresses his speech becomes more and more fluent. It will take another 1000 years maybe before every ape will get complete fluency from birth.
My best guess as to why May speaks and clothing is not like the other primitive humans? She is a crash landing survivor of the Icarus mission. This is the end reveal. It’s just a guess.
@@ajnunez8788Well that was the exact plot of the original movie so not that impossible. But the reboot franchise does seem too "grounded" for the whole time travel through space plot
@@ajnunez8788in the original movie, time dilation caused the crew of the space ship to travel 2,000 years into the future while only perceiving a trip of a few months.
@@thecrimsondragonslayer6533 I think it's possible. The original trilogy was very grounded but this is kicking off a new trilogy that may get a little more sci-fi.
Director mentioned there is a crazy twist at the end. Calling it now: That orangutan is not a good guy. He will betray Noa and start the line of cornelius etc and those scoundrels.
Proximus Caesars movements and voice very much remind me of Ricardo Montalban's performance of Kahn in the Star Trek Wrath of Kahn movie. I wonder if that was intentional or just coincidental.
I thought this was set a fair bit into the future from the last one? more than like 20 years. Unless the Nova name is just coincidence or maybe its a title for certain humans? Cause the name Nova was the little girl from the third one
mae was wrong when she said " this place was build for human and human ideas,_ earth is for whatever species comes Alpha, in that case we can say earth belonged to dinosaurs cos they lived here first
@@TimberlakeTigerGirl yes but earth wasn't really build for human and human idea's like she says it is when the world was still there even before humans were even here?
I’m now concerned this movie will be bad. Putting what should be big reveals like this in trailers/released clips before the movie is even out is rarely a good sign
Noa is the 300th year descendent in Cesar's bloodline so thankfully Cesar's only son Cornelius continued the family tree. Sadly the movie wont follow him and the original apes since they all passed away 300 years ago along with their human friend Nova who got name dropped in the first clip.
