She was such a sweetheart in the cartoon. The close childhood bond dynamic with Bruce was obvious, he could show up at her place with little explanation, they were pleased to see each other, she lived in a little apartment, she was sweet natured and enjoyed working out indoors but upon the transfusion she loved her new appearance (not that she wasn't going to stand out anyway), she was now strong and had been dragged into a whole government conspiracy. Her boost in confidence could easily have been down to the radiation but I never got that impression as a child, she just seemed happy, now learning that she lost her powers but had an 'easy come easy go' attitude (I don't remember the episode) validates this. This shehulk just undergoes a bad CGI glowup.

@@LilLadyAy 💯. When I'm watching the show it doesn't even feel like she's becoming more confident. It never feels like a clear distinction between how she was before and how she is now. All that has progressed her telling us that she doesn't want to be "associated" with she-hulk. To use using it as a crutch to get whatever she wants.

See, I like that because it doesn’t require Wong being dumb. Have his student return to him or have him find his student desperate, he feels conflicted but his good nature pushes him to help him, he tries all sorts of magic to break the contract but the contract is too powerful of a force even for someone of wong’s level, you could even have it where it isn’t Wong’s idea to find a lawyer, it’s just an idea he’s following because someone suggested it to him which means you could have him kinda look down on Jen because he naturally assumes she can’t do anything about a literal demon contract but she manages to find a loophole in the contract and declare it null and void which pisses off the demon and then you have Wong save Jen from the demon since that’s more his area of expertise and by the end of the episode. Wong apologises to Jen for his immaturity in not believing in her ability just because he’s the sorcerer supreme now doesn’t mean he should get an ego about it, he still has much to learn but looks forward to being more open to new ideas and Jenn could admit that there’s problems she just can’t deal with even with her enhanced abilities.

Even if he were aware that her real name is Jen, which he clearly wasn't when he said "uh...who are you?", he didn't get the choice to decline having sexual intercourse and a relationship with BOTH She-Hulk and Jen. As far as he was aware, he was getting a date with She-Hulk and that was all he got to see. Jen Walters may be her real name, but the general public sees the big green woman most of the time if she's on TV and the law firm would be advertising that She-Hulk works for them, not Jen. Hell, we literally have news footage of Joe Biden saying that black people aren't black if they don't vote for him and I still have family members who don't believe he said that. Not everyone is glued to the news all the time for everything, and even when they do see it, they often forget about it or misremember details within days.

@@regiman222 To expand on that even more is that All-Might is the symbol of hope, peace, justice, etc., so he's always in the Superman form in front of people to represent himself to the people as those things all the time. The only reason he stops is due to the world knowing about it due to the circumstances & fate leading to it. Yet despite that, he continued forward & people still loved him due to his actions. Here? Jen's almost worse than some villains.

But more importantly, he would see himself as a greater authority than any courtroom judge. It also shows that the show has nothing close to knowledge of law, except for a cameo by a WWE wrestler who has an actual Harvard degree in law playing a rejected Tinder date.

The entire "dating app" scenario would've worked if the writers: 1) Didn't let Jen shift to her former self after her transformation into She-Hulk - Bruce is freaked out by this and swears he will fix it, but he needs time. Jen refuses to wait on his island because she has work to do and can't let her clients down. 2) Established that Jen USED to try a dating app with little success (she didn't feel attracted to men who swiped her, she didn't have time to meet them, etc.) in the previous episodes. 3) Introduced a colleague or guy Jen liked but felt like he was out of her league. She never approached him or spoke to him, didn't have the guts and confidence - the dude was like the unachievable dream for her. So, She-Hulk is getting used to her new life. She goes through her phone and checks her app. She sees a couple of swipes from random dudes she isn't really into on her profile. She stares at the screen for a minute, then says: "Fuck it", deletes the app, and goes out to meet her crush. She approaches him, talks to him, and flirts with him - it all feels natural to her. She ends up inviting HIM on a date - something Jennifer Walters would have never believed herself to be capable of. As she goes home, she notes to herself that she is starting to really like that whole "She-Hulk" deal.

Nikki was swiping for Jen and she's a lesbian so maybe thats why lol But then again, Jen agreed on a second date with "specimen" Todd so yeah she's that desperate lol
