You really can tell that Filipinez mom, Olga, speaks highly of the Philippines. Not just by representing, loving Filipino food. From describing Tanya looks a bit Filipino, to how the weather differ from Russia; the sincere honesty tells it all of her after thoughts of her experience being in the Philippines.

Always saute garlic and onion first for flavors, then add the meat cooked until brown.....add the vegetable lastly to avoid overcooked. Hope it helps! You can add carrots and potatoes cut in cubes of the same size as the meat.

Andrey, I apologize for spelling your name incorrectly. Rusian culture is no different than pilipino's very family oriented. Thank you for adopting pilipino food. Mama Olga, we thank you greatly for spreading our culture to your country serving pilipino foods in your family household. It is certainly awesome and proud to follow your blogs wherever you may be. We can't thank you enough, Mama Olga, Andrey, Lisa, and to your entire family members ❤️. God bless 🙌 🙏 and take care always.

I am really impressed that your MOM knows how to use "patis" (fish sauce) with her cooking. Even in Thailand, they hardly use salt, but instead fish sauce or soy sauce. I have never tasted this dish. I never heard of it, must be new. Does your Mom know how to make Filipino macaroni salad with shredded chicken and crushed pineapple? That is something the kids will like. Try it! Yes, Tanya can be mistaken as a "mistisa Filipina". There are a lot of Filipina that are Spanish looking because of the colonization for over 300 years. I went on RU-vid to check on this dish and saw that a whole cut up chicken looks good too. Remember, the chicken bones makes the dishes taste better. Sometimes chicken breast by itself is too dry. Any vegetables can grow in the Philippines. We only give anyone who like to learn to cook Filipino food great advice. We want you to continue to be a great cooks. We do our market everyday. Filipino don't believe in freezing food. Always wants FRESH catch of the day.

Try to go Baguio. Its a good place and you can see variety of fresh vegetables like brocolli, cabbage, carrots, potatoes, baby potato, strawberry , lettuce and many more. Those vegetables were harvested there. The temperature there is cold unlike the other parts of Luzon that is hot.
@chebtremb2244
@chebtremb2244 Месяц назад
They already have abundant of these vegetables in their country, probably better too as those usually grow in cold climate. It’s better for them to try more fresh seafoods, fish as these you can only buy frozen, if there’s fresh it usually cost an arm and leg. Also enjoy the beaches, the water in Philippines is warm.
@mnm2156
@mnm2156 Месяц назад
@@chebtremb2244 True, that. Also, they're going to Samal. Davao has veggies and such too. Dunno if they grow the same ones in Luzon, but i think they do. Just gotta know where 🤔
@perlypadua1535
@perlypadua1535 Месяц назад
Yes Baguio is nice , but Russian have almost 9 months cold, autumn 3 mos. winter 3 mos. and spring for 3 mos. so they are going abroad for sunshine. they love beaches. Summer in Russia you can see a lot of people sunbathing in two piece near a lake or a pond.
@chebtremb2244
@chebtremb2244 Месяц назад
@@perlypadua1535 lol there are only 12 months in a year. Russian winter is long, they probably only have 2 months of spring/summer/fall all together. Basically 2 months with more sunshine, the rest of the year is just dark and gloomy.

I was born and grew up in Manila, we cooked Pininyahang manok in the same procedure, but the difference is we use evaporated milk instead of coconut milk, and we add sliced hotdog, we cut the hotdog the same cut as we use in cooking spaghetti sauce, and the carrot I know you like shredded than to slice it, but we cut the carrots into dices and I know also you liked very much the potatoes, you can also cut the potatoes into dices the same as carrot. try it with evaporated milk because some provinces use coconut milk rather than evaporated milk

As long as you cook meat( anything of meat)...saute it first with garlic,onion, (optional : fish sauce if you have it, vetsin or msg.) when meat is tender then add vegetables (reason to cook meat first coz its take time to tender the meat compare to vegetable that prone to overcooked... So thats why.we filipinos in rural areas and all pinoys we add vegetables if the meat is tender then..... taste it for final.

Philippines has the best nut as recognized by the world's keto community. It's called Pili. It has the highest fat content among all nuts. I would like to say that peanut is also one of the country's important crop, however, it is scientifically classified as a bean rather than a nut. The country produces cashew nut too

Next time cook Chicken Tinola soup. Saute lots of ginger, garlic and onion. Add chicken preferably with bones, like the wings. Add ground pepper and fish sauce, mix well and add water to soften the meat. You can add Knorr Chicken Cubes to add flavor. For vegetable, add slices/quartered green bell pepper, and spinach. If you can find (optional) Green Papaya or Chayote, better . Cut in cubes and add in the soup. Wait until Papaya/chayote is soft and then serve.

Coffee growing was introduced by the Spaniards in our place Batangas that made our coffee Barako became famous. I myself experienced before you sip your cup of coffee, it will pass through exhaustive process from harvesting, drying, pounding in mortar and pestle to separate thebeans from the peel, then toast, pound again, shift then brew the coffee. Finally, you can enjoy the real coffee with a strong aroma lingering inside your house while brewing it.
