Bryan's pace of aging just lowered to .65, his best so far. Is it possible that Julie has been doing this longer than 3 years? Also the majority of Bryan;s 2M is spent on testing, testing equipment not the supplements, to make adjustments to his diet. I believe his cost is at $480/mth as of today.

You can’t really compare her rate of aging to Bryan because he was already over 40 when he started. She’s likely been health focused longer her whole life. proof that you can achieve 80% by putting in 20%. get the basics right. consistency is key. prevent shit from happening in the first place. i'm 30 and still figuring stuff out. the great thing: it's really not that complicated. you just need to understand it, do it, and adhere to it. but it's been tough, not having any role models makes it a lot harder. one can feel very isolated in an endeavour that's really rather basic... a shame.

In the day and age of self help and internet there are hundreds if not thousands or millions of people competing to be one of your role models. If you choose to not take their advice, not follow the model they have displayed for you then that is purely on you. The world has countless role models, you have to pick which ones you'll follow.

1:40 is where Siim starts talking about her. (Thanks for the coverage, Siim!) So basically, only the novos supplement and the more uncommon Calcium Alpha-Ketoglurate are noteworthy. Besides that, her supplementation looks pretty much like a run-of-the-mill stack even for people not specifically interested in longevity. As for lifestyle, many people here will have a similar regimen as her. - Mostly plant-based diet with 100g of protein, - 16h time-restricted eating, - a 5 day workout plan (3:22) that includes strength training, - 20-30 minutes of cardio, - long walks, - sauna three times a week, - meditation, and last but not least - good sleep (with sleep mask, and mouth tape) The crucial piece of the puzzle that pushes her into the hall of fame is likely her genetic edge (4:05).

Fasting is a key to longevity, especially if you do more than 30+ hours so autophagy kicks in and does the magic. All your damaged cells, weak and dead cells are being replaced with new young and strong ones. In other words, you are literally born again to some degree.
@User4563-di1cm
@User4563-di1cm 2 месяца назад
One hour of aerobic exercise at 50-60% of your VO2 max up-regulates autophagy as much as a 72-hour fast does, according to Dr. Tommy Wood. So if you find extended fasts to be unpleasant/unsustainable, a chill hour run around the neighborhood will do the trick

Humans need nutrients to fuel their bodies and provide energy to the cells. Fasting makes you feel weak and tired, not rejuvenated. @@PinkRose0910 Yes humans need nutrients but not all day long lol. Actually, we are made in a way that we can easily go 3,4,5 days, even longer without food and we will have plenty energy and strength left. It is evolutions way of making humans very resilient to adverse conditions such as shortage of food. Don't forget it is only after World War two that people had enough to eat. for hundreds of thousands of years food had been scarce as such humans evolved to not needing that much food, and not needing it too often. So, yes fasting has amazing benefits. I've tried myself up to 5 days and literally felt younger and stronger than when I was 25, I'm 57. BTW, there is people that have been able to go up to 163 days without food and still be healthy and fine. So I need to think about joining this, I’m 57, zero grey hair, had a baby naturally at 45, compete in fitness etc and I’m told I look 20 years younger. Hers my secret, I grew up on organic Whole Foods, I got into traditional Chinese medicine as a teenager, becoming a practitioner later on. I use key herbs and supplements, I work out with weights six days a week, cardio daily. I eat organic foods and count to macros, I’ve done just about every diet regime out there over past forty years but I learned simplicity is best.

Mag - 4/m D3/K2 - 3/m EPA/DHA - 5/m B-comp - 7/m Here are real cost numbers per month of the supplements that I take. I also take a generic multivitamin (1/m), bacopi monnieri (11/m), and cbd (30/m). I also tend to use "50% less sodium" salt to up the amount of potassium that I get in my diet. The key of using sodium/potassium salts is to use them during cooking and only use finishing salts at the end. Maldon salt is a great inexpensive finishing salt for the home cook. Supplementing doesn't have to be expensive. My baseline supplementation is quite cheap (~20 per month.) I use the bacopi and cbd for the relaxation and they have drastically cut down on my mental spiraling. I take 50mg cbd as I read a study showing that was the lowest level that had a statically significant impact as an anti-oxidant.

I am like wtf. Then, you take a lot of the Longevity gurus out there and, in all honesty, a lot of them look so old. I mean maybe they are healthy on the inside but isn't your skin and face a refection of what is going on inside? I won't name names but there are a few.
