Dec. 23rd, 2021. This was a rainy day, but we still managed to take advantage of a short weather window to do Angel's Landing in Zion National Park. Bonnie had never been up there before, so we thought this would be a good time to do it before the lottery permit system goes into effect.
The conditions were pretty icy and we didn't use micro spikes. I was actually pretty surprised to see everyone else using them because I assumed they wouldn't be allowed on the sandstone. I was obviously wrong. If anyone's planning to do it in similar conditions, micro spikes would be a good idea.
