I've been no contact and every single video I've watched has told me to stay there until she contacts me. However I decided to listen to a woman (you) this time and I sent her exactly what you said. "I understand how I messed up, I apologize. I agree we need time apart." We both played a big role in what lead to us breaking up which she pushed for. However I sent that and 5 minutes later she called back and we talked. I am not saying we will get back together, but we were mature and very soft with one another about it all. Owned our roles and she and I both are in a better spot. No pressure or anything to hang out but it certainly was a relief to be where we are now. Thank you from the bottom of my heart on this one. @@antonjelenic8014 - It wasn't long. Maybe 3 weeks but I felt the need to apologize for things I said. We still are not together and won't be and I'm 100% ok with it and allow me to explain. After stepping back and really looking at the relationship for what it was, I was believing in something that didn't exist, just in my own head. She is simply not the right woman for me. It's a very hard part to contend with but once you pull your emotions out and look at things objectively, you see things much clearer. Good luck to you!!

I did elude in my original post she "owned" them but there was no "I'm sorry." More mirroring what I was doing. Any human being that cannot admit fault is not someone I would surround myself with. I feel I was lucky to get out of this with only 9 months invested. Imagine spending years with someone who doesn't know the words "I'm sorry I hurt you." That's one sinister and entitled b**** if you ask me. My advice is this. If they broke up with you, they will do it again. This video helped give a good perspective, i watched it awhile ago and finally was brave enough to put a comment. When my ex dumped me i walked around for weeks thinking i had made mistakes and more, was depressed for awhile, but the time i finally felt i could move on then i was told my a mutual friend that she had started dating a new guy same day as she broke my heart. The pain from hearing that kind of news is the worst pain. The reason im saying all of this is that you might think you did something or something bad, but the truth is if they can move on that fast then they were the issue and not you in the relationship. It might feel like the end of the worls, but it truly isnt. Stay strong, everyone, and remember we all have friends and family that love us. Wrong! My ex is god fearing woman and I am non believer but enjoyed our talks, we loved each other so much. The pastor was having non of her dating a non believer and deconstructed me over months and then threatened that it she stays with me she will live in sin and god will come and kill me or her or one of her kids in the future as a lesson. He put her through the excommunication process until he broke her then gave her 3 months discipliary. She has messaged me 3 times now telling me how she is deeply in love with me and misses me, but she has sinned and must stick with god as her first love.

I broke up with my gf, the relationship was 3 months. She couldn't make time to see me for over a month prior to this she told me something that made me question "why am I with her" and I balled my eyes out on the drive back home. She never gave me the time of day to tell her what was on my mind she even guessed what it was I wanted to talk about. The final straw for me was when she lied to me about where she would be on the 4th and with who she would be with. Not with her parents for her moms B-Day but out with a bunch of friends. Hi Anna, I was listening to Dan Bacon about this No Contact rule and he was saying in 2023/24 things move so fast that a Woman can go on a dating app and within minutes have multiple contacts and within an hour have dates set up. Those dates then give her the chance to be wooed by other Men and get over you faster. Additonally, it seems the No Contact rule was thought up by Psychiatrists and Counsellors mainly to help Women move on by suggesting to the Man and the Woman to have No Contact for 30-60 days during a Separation/Divorce, and that it was never created to get people back together. Just wondered what your thoughts were on this?

Loved this video! Ages ago a woman had broke up with me , and after a month or so of no contact she started calling me, showing up at my work, etc. It only resulted in casual get togethers, which wasn't really what I wanted, so I moved on. During the breakup period I hung out with friends and just did things I enjoyed. I think if I had initially pleaded with her to stay, I'd have lost her respect. If I had continued to get together with her for casual hook ups I would have lost my own self respect. All in all it worked out since she simply wasn't right for me.

Ive never used social media, so she has no idea what im up to other than the phone number. And btw, shes an avoidant, took another guy to bed and moved him in day one after ghosting me. I have 100% stopped reaching out day 2. And she and i had a million beautiful adventures and experiences in our 18 months together. Shock and heartbreak best describe my response. That said, i can play games with any woman love em or not. I have too much self respect. Its been 12 weeks. Nothing. As i said, ive got too much self respect to play games like this. Hi Anna, I believe in the no contact, however it's complete torture. Without it we won't grow, It's the only way to get back to reality, and get your feet back on the ground. For me it's been 6 months and Everday I realize something else that was an issue. My breakup was not a girlfriend it was a female friend (BFF) that some boundaries were crossed.
You are wrong. Although you think you mean well, this is bad advice. There is no point in trying to make her regret her decision or in trying to get her back. Move on with dignity. The best thing you can do is to break up with her completely. Burn the bridges and use that strong energy and anger to drastically improve yourself. Get into shape-hit the gym after or before work at least 3-5 times a week. Play sports, start a business if you can (or find ways to make more money), learn how to dress well, how to speak well, and flirt (!) - use YT for that. Travel, meet interesting people, and build an interesting life. You will be amazed at how much you can change and how life around you will change. Kind and attractive women will naturally come into your life. It’s actually quite simple (not easy, but simple). Do you want to date 10/10 women? Become a 10/10 man with high value. We all have the ability to improve. Don’t be a pushover; fight for a better life. Take this as a fresh start and make it happen. You absolutely can do it, and it is absolutely worth it.

I can't help but recognize that, #1 the ways you might get her back are also the ways you should act if, #2 you don't want her back. Most of the time IMO, unless you are married with children, door #2 is the better choice. If you don't follow Anna's advice about the "No Contact" policy's, and continue to "pursue" her love, you are Simping and making everything worse. Ghost her, don't talk to anyone about her, don't bring her up in conversation. Don't let her continue to live in your mind rent free. I know it's a heavy haul when you really love her but you must. If you do ghost her, the ball will be in her court. Let her make her choice, if she has a change of heart and that's what you still want fine, don't chase her.

Just had my gf of 6 months recently ghost me. We had our very first small dispute in the relationship (she was in the wrong) and she immediately ran. She never said we were breaking up, didn't say she wanted out, never even hinted that she was unhappy; last text I got from her was "I need time talk when I can" and she blocked me on everything. That was 3 weeks ago. I'm trying to move on and even got a couple dates lined up, but I just can't wrap my head around why she'd discard me after everything we had. I've been in three relationships and I wouldn't want to go back to any of them! The first one was so shy she could barely speak. The second one was a religious fanatic who tried to cast out demons from my sandwich! The third one played mind games. I had thought of going back to her until she kicked the bucket so that's a technicality.
2017 feb she broke up... She is still single and a few, days ago earlier she unblocked me on Facebook after 6 years. Well of course unblock are not accidental. (08.16.2023). Ofcourse things didn't work the way she had hoped. 6 years my friends 6 years.

@@carlosnunes929 I still have feelings for her that's why I let her go and that is why I am still single as well. But I keep no expectations. Yet I know she stalked me. I am just waiting for her to get in touch rather than contacting her myself. If she doesn't come back that is fine too, but I don't think I can love another person in this life.
Nowadays, if a girl leaves me. I just say "sure" or "ok". And leave it at that. I refuse to care anymore. A girl asks me to open up...ill pretend to, but im not really going to. Could i do more? I understand how men can get to that point. The thing is, emotionally healthy women need a man who will be able to open up eventually. Interestingly, the best way to start feeling more secure with a woman this test her by setting your own boundaries, respectfully, and lovingly, of course.
Everybody here keeps on saying the tired old line of "if she ignores you then leave, there are many girls on the field" I say its a lousy excuse to escape an objective or project that was just given to us when we know cant put an effort on it. Ironically, women in my past knowing that I'm like this and I stick to it has had many of them fiending for my attention, some of them YEARS later. Sorry woman, it didn't work the first time, so I'm not even remotely interested in running it back again just to SEE if it MIGHT work this time, when it likely won't and I just wasted even more valuable time
